Brian Cameron unboxes the Gretsch G2622T and G2655T Streamliner™ guitars at Real 2 Reel studios in Jonesboro, Georgia. Thanks to Cusack Music and Perkins Amplification for the amps used in this video and thanks to Lewitt and Cloud for the audio support. just bought one of these today. was originally gonna get a dot but sweet talked my dad into throwing in some extra cash for this one! it's a really good guitar and the bigsby just makes it even better

Too much gravity? My hair on top grows like gangbusters, but I couldn't grow a beard like that - no way! Oh yeah... Great guitars and sounds real nice thru that amp!

Is the neck on the junior streamliner smaller as well? I really dig the smaller body but i've got huge hands so anything with a smaller or shorter scale neck is a no go for me

Is the version of the G2655T you have in this video the Walnut version? looks more red than other videos I have seen. But the only more red version I see is the one with out bigsby

I like how both times the Bigsby makes them go so out of tune, they had to stop recording.

Juan Acuña The Bigsby is not at fault but the basic bridge ans saddles setup...with a Bigsby you have to change that tunomatic bridge (it catches the wounded strings on their way back from a dive) for a roller bridge and it will be fine.

You play it like that, I'm convinced! My question is why is it that brand companies almost always hire someone from the jazz department to review a guitar? Jazz sucks & I said it :) If they really wanna sale, my advice to them is: Jazz is not the best representative genre a guitar was created for - my idea of a guitar is high over drive & full gain on the amp side of the thing so hire someone like this who can make a guitar scream!

In my opinion the Streamliner doesn't have that beautiful Gretsch sparkle. And rockers like Neil Young and George Harrison have sold millions of records playing traditional Gretschs. If millions are dollars worth of rock music is ever made using Streamliner, it will take equal talent to Young and Harrison AND the lack of better guitar choices AND being in a great band AND being able to compose great songs ...

WhimpyPatrol your comment is quite interesting. I own a G2622 that I just recently purchased. The red finish on it is very elegant to my taste which is good. It has a more modern look than any regular gretsch; if you really want to acquire a Gretsch with sparkle finishes and different/classic tone you might need to save more money for the request.

Millions of records have been sold by musicians recording with $100 dollar guitars, so that logic is a bit flawed.

Affordable center block semi hollow body guitars but the great Gretsch sound is not there.You need to pay more for it.

T.I.N Mateus (a) the sound is there, (b) the Broadtrons aren't really a traditional Filtertron or Dearmond style tone. Swap those out and the tone would be right there.

anyway, i love the clean tone of the humbuckers of the g2655, it's got twang and is profound...if you're looking for the tone of the filtertron pick-ups, if you expect the atkins tone, this is not a gretsch for you...in my opinion, i found this guitar really great, its clean tone is awesome and its drive is killer....i was lookin' for a humbacker guitar, semi-hollow, aiming to an epiphone and i found this one....
