It would have been cheaper for the market with that loss to ante up the fair share in taxes so the average citizen could be productive and healthy and have an adequate response by our government to the virus. Saw that movie in a criminology class I took long ago in a galaxy far far away. Found it much scarier than anthony Hopkins portrayals of Hannibal.

Pamela Cass I had read the book Red Dragon way back then in early 1980s . Hannibal was not the main character . The fright actually came from the character Francis Dolarhyde. I don’t think the movies or TV show went into the depth of what happened in Dolarhyde ‘s life or the origin of that wheelchair. Anyway I like all the portrayals of Hannibal but the lesser known one of Brian Cox’s is my favorite .

Johan - I agree. A very simplified and version of history. As for his statement on WW1, I live in a small village in the south of England. The war memorial makes it clear that most of the young men of this village were killed. Scotland has tried to invade England many times, and the Royal family are far more Scottish than English. Scots are embedded in every part of government here, and the last Labour government the Scots were very heavily represented. They have more MP's per head of population than the English. I voted Remain with the EU, and I am not nationalistic in the least. What Brian Cox does not realise is that it is his kind of nationalism that brought about Brexit. It is all about hate, and I have to say, sadly, that Brian Cox showed plenty of that. Just a final bit. Before declaring the English so freeking evil, a reminder that the whole concept of human rights, the rule of law, Bill of Rights, etc, came from England.
