I love how a lot of the comments are really missing him, saying their goodbyes, and he's... alive? Has his own channel? Gives me real "Sometimes I can still hear him" vibes
i think my favorite polygon joke is personally addressing your complains with bethesda games to todd howard himself “hey TODD!?” has stuck with me for YEARS and i say it to myself every now and then
Brian saying the Tsuchinoko is sexy because it's a lying alcoholic changed me irreparably as a person, objectively for the worse, but also objectively for the funnier
What is your greatest intangible fear? “My greatest fear would be not being able to remember my loved ones, so memory loss.” What is your greatest tangible fear? “h o r s e s”
Goodbye, Brian David Gilbert. I know you ranted about why people wanted you to explain things. It's not because things needed explaining, it's because *you* were doing the explaining, and that's all we needed. :)
Ngl "Why catch em all, if you cant keep the one that you love" is such a poetic and incredible line and its written for a song where he names hundreds of pokemon.
My favorite number is 427, so when I clicked the "Like" button and it bumped from 427 to 428, I want you to understand how much I enjoyed these BDG clips
@@johnlittle8045 As soon as i see 427 i had hopes that i've found another one who had played The Stanley Parable. Next time im facing the gods, i'll walk backwards into hell instead
I love BDG and all these moments are great but I've just got to give a little shoutout to Patrick's completely dead eyed dream ballet performance topped off by combat rolling off stage, bravo.
I saw one of this guy's videos a while ago, and I didn't recognize him at all as The Winter King. But his performance was amazing, he's got a great voice, especially for singing.
Dayum that boy can actually dance. Right at the end I had to pause and appreciate the air he got and of course rewatch that dance number like three times
Watching Brian perform is so wonderfully bittersweet because on the one hand he's a genius, he's wonderful, he's fabulous, he's so talented and so funny, and on the other hand I'm sad because I know I'll never be as amazing as he is
“Fun fact about academic books that I learned in college: is that no one enjoys writing OR reading an academic paper… WHY’D YA PUT IT IN A VIDEO GAME?!” I quote this all the time, it’s too real lol
Let me preface this with: I love this video, I love BDG. He is my precious boy. however, gonna be really pedantic for a sec. a majority of these clips *have the context* You literally preface the funny parts *with* the context.
I'm glad I'm not the only that realised. Far too many of these have too much context for this video. I don't have to have watched this whole show multiple times to parse that he was talking about robot masters, OSHA violations in smash stages, skyrim books, castlevania monsters, Bowser's military hierarchy, etc.
Being stabbed with a trident is bad, but I think getting stabbed by a pair of scissors is worse, because you get stabbed twice at once and then the stabber can open the scissors inside the stabbee's stab wound, and that's effed up
I'm not much for psychological horror, so I do miss his old stuff, but it seems that he probably likes what he makes more now, so I'm glad he's doing that
I love BDG as much as the next person but I think Pat always goes a little too under the radar. He is too underrated which is crazy because he is so awesome as well, especially in the PokeRap Dream Ballet.
Why'd you leave out "I'm a Luigi". Would have been one of the best moments out of context. Though, side note, you provided context for all of these in the clips themselves.
