@jwmmath Thanks! I have been getting more comfortable with the tug. Did my first thermal flight a couple weeks ago. I havent been able to get out there that often. Only about 8 flights in the last 2 months. It is a Falcon 170. Quest has it available for use. Ill get my own eventually.
...awesome first solo flight! Looked like a very good takeoff, and your quick pitch controls, keeping tug on horizon, will come with more experience! Cloudbase looked low (only about 3,000 ft AGL). Was probably a little tough to stay aloft because of the heavy gear on that solo glider (was it a Falcon 170?)
...ah! I spotted the field at 3:18! I also trained at Quest Air, and a couple days after flying that landing gear-equipped solo glider, I was launching from the dolly.
