I loved this show. I watched it from the first episode until the last one. I hated the way it ended and just left us hanging. Eve had the best opening song, It made me want to dance every time it came on.
@@ultimatevixn Thanks so much. Robert Hooks, the daddy (?), used to live in an apartment located on top of the movie theater, The Colony. This was back in the 60s. He would sit, actually hang out, his window and wave at the children as we walked from the elementary school 2 blocks away.
I be wanting to believe these actors when they say things like u have to play the game and have no morals or beliefs, but Denzel Washington is the epitome of a man that has morals, principles, beliefs, a great family, no drug or alcohol problems, nor has he ever said he’s been “seduced” by Hollywood. Part of the reason Eve ended was because Eve was coming late to set and became difficult to work with during the 3rd season. Also the show took a huge ratings plunge due to low viewership. Just so happen at the time of the merger of UPN & WB it didnt make the cut. Honestly season 3 was not good as the storylines were getting progressively worse
Hollywood is a truly dirty business and now days you have to sell your soul if you want to be on TOP, some actors are willing to that too but I am glad he wasn't and stuck with his Values and Morals.
I still watch Eve on Cleo tv, they could have let them come back and finish the show in a proper way instead of the Trapped on the closet cliffhanger. There was a cliffhanger for Half and Half also.
I know this is probably going to be an un popular opinion, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the “Eve” show. Plus it was nothing like a “modern” “Moesha”.
Eve said, it was canceled because she was already so rich and famous before getting the show that she didn't take it seriously and was constantly late, infuriating the show owner's?
