About 20-25 years ago, I drove Brian in the limo to a gig in Frederick, Md. and let's just say, in the 40 years I have been a chauffeur, that night was the best limo job I have ever driven... Ever. Brian and his crew were so super cool and they took such good care of me. I will never forget that limo job and I will never forget Brian and his friends. Rest easy my dude in Rock and Roll heaven...
I got to know Brian pretty well. I worked at 98 Rock from 1993 to 1995 and lived with 'The Kirkster" in '94/'95. Hung with Brian many times at the house and saw him perform out and about at SO many places. Also, when I worked at the great Thunderdome for a few Child's Play reunion shows...and on and on. Too many places to mention! I also DJ'd at The Zu in Dundalk in 1995. Brian was always very kind to me over the years and was such an amazing talent! Every time I saw him live he just blew me away! This is a fantastic piece...thanks so much for posting this! Brings back great memories of Baltimore and the awesome rock music scene that is was! Best times of my life! R.I.P. Brian!!!
I met Brian one night after he played after his split from Childs Play at Hammerjack's in Baltimore, back in 91' or 92' ish. Pretty humble, cool guy. I got him to autograph my Hammerjack's flyer! What a shame, that he's no longer with us...
Such a genuinely talented musician and gracious person. Opening up for him and then him inviting me to sing one with he and his band will remain a treasured memory. RIP Brian
Miss you Brian. Miss the late night shots, conversations and nights that turned into mornings. Some of the best times I've ever had were with you, my friend. You left this world far too soon.
I use to be a barmaid there Friday and Saturday nights was rockin I remeber a postcard that sat by one of the cash registers it was from from Brian to Rose I miss those days
Ahh yes Chelly...The Zu!!! Had such great and crazy times there. I actually was a DJ there for awhile (as I mentioned in my post). ANYWAY, we miss you Brian! R.I.P. brother! So many great memories!!!
