Very interesting stories, I can't imagine how someone could live with that secret gnawing away inside them until they're on their deathbed. Keith Richards still has a holiday home in West Wittering I think.
I once lived around the corner from that Thorogood bloke's flat in Wood Green.. albeit in different times.. I am convinced that bully murdered Brian !! I hope you are well sweetie.. and please upload some videos !! X rollingstonesdata.com/trivia/frank-thorogood-cotchford-farm-brian-jones-house/
You have quite a Library 👍I remember hearing on the radio when he died-( I’m dating myself)It was a mysterious death indeed.😮I used to be a big stones fan for several years. I also liked drawing portraits and I have a big framed pastel of Brian, did it when I was 15. From photos obviously 😂Have others too, mick and Keith etc, lol Nice video, friend ! Cheers !❤️
How wonderful that you are an artist !! Yes I was born in late1965 so was not really aware of the Rolling Stones as a kid. My parents were into The Beatles. I love both of the band's music and have most of the albums each group has produced ! I have visited Brian's grave in Cheltenham cemetery, UK and it is a very simple monument for such a notable musician.. www.islingtontribune.co.uk/article/the-brian-jones-mystery-rolls-on I saw Keith when he was playing in his group 'The X-Pensive Winos' and he was a really great bloke. The venue was in a country UK pub near Windsor as the band were attempting to be hitherto unknown and Keef was 'under the radar' having a bit of fun doing what he does best..play excellent guitar. I shook his hand and bought him a pint after the show !! lol and he said 'Cheers man' !! That band is still going !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--gbMkbBtoBg.html&ab_channel=CBSSundayMorning
Crikey mick!!!...he died just before I was born...thats a long time ago. I suppose the Rick bands of that era were boundary breakers, maybe not always good , but their fathers had served in ww2 or Korea and most at least done national service...so maybe it was a kick back that the old ways were over....one thing is at least they were original unlike the tosh of today😊😊😊
Cheers Stan bro ! Yeah I totally agree.. although I like Oasis.. it is just a Beatles rip off and the two bell end brothers that fronted that band are highly un-noteworthy in comparison to the intelligence of the Beatles line-up ! I don't really follow modern music (well I live in Poland.. and although they have their own clever groups.. they seldom make the international scene !) Strangely there's an English dude here called John Porter.. who is massive in Poland.. but I bet you've never heard of him !! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Porter_(British-Polish_musician) I've seen him on many occasions at gigs and have even chatted with him at signings and he is a very funny bloke. He used to be married to the beautiful Anita Lipnicka and I have chatted in Polish with her too !! lol en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anita_Lipnicka
@6.47, 'those' exact words were what Tom Keylock claimed Frank said on his death bed, there were no other witness to those words, maybe Frank was a scapegoat of the real killer as dead men cannot talk (Frank), it has be said that Keylock & his heavies 'did' Brian & 'those' words got him off the hook but he's dead now anyway so we'll never know the whole truth
Yes I agree with that.. dead men can tell no tales for sure. I used to live with my first wife (sadly deceased) in Palace Gates Road in Wood Green, London N22.. and just behind us was Albert Close.. Frank used to live at no.7 (which was part of a block of 1930's style flats with walkways on the exterior of the brick building) I remember hearing tales down the local pub from the old timers (it was about 1991 when I lived there ) about how Frank had boasted he was doing work for the Rolling Stones. Keith Richards couldn't wait to get rid of him from his mansion.. so Brian got him at Cotchford Farm.
Awesome ! I was last in Cheltenham in the mid 1990's and I visited Brian's grave ! ..a simple edifice but thankfully was untouched by graffiti !! I visited Jim Morrison's grave in Paris.. but that was a completely different story !!
