Coming to this after Brian beat Yair this weekend. His comeback story, his rebirth, really connected with me. And I’ve always enjoyed his fights, but never did a deep dive into him as a person. I can’t tell you how much I connect with his story, despite our differences, and I do feel like God has reached me as I listened to this. I’ve always had a relationship with Him, but not always a good one. This further drives home the importance of submitting to His will and power. I’m beyond inspired, probably closer to blessed. This is so real. I needed to hear this. I have a 2 year old son. I want to be the best dad to him. I remember my father never showing emotion and I always thought he was putting up a front and never being real. This was a great episode about parenting and God. Thank you. Brian I’m happy you got your kids back and found God.
God is meeting me through this podcast. I was asking for strength and asking for help and asking for a sign while im going through this dark moment in life and he was watching and listening and gave me this sign . Im gonna be walking with strength tomorrow ❤
Thank you for sharing your story, it takes a lot of courage to open up and talk about your struggles, but I think this is what many people need to hear. Your story certainly gives hope and strength not to give up. I struggled with depression and definitely reached a point where I thought it was over, but God really gives a second chance and if we just open our hearts to Him, everything changes.

Thats a powerful testimony, after seeing his interview on the post fight I knew I had to search what more he had to say. What stuck with me is he saying “we still here”, shows to me that even after tought moments walking with God brings you to the other side. I needed to hear all that.

I’m very new to UFC. The funny part is that my very first UFC card was Brian vs Alexander the Great. I took my 7 years old son (who know practices BJJ) to the movie theater and we had a blast watching that card there. That Purge walk-in is memorable and his fight against Volk too.
I’m excited to see my guy Brian Ortega in heaven. God knew he had a warrior in his kingdom when he created Brian. He just wanted to keep talking about our savior. I loved it. Hopefully he will continue to have some time for more podcasts. Safety and health to him and his family are in my prayers.

The real mystery is how Brian is the #3 ranked Featherweight when he's 1-3 in his last 4 fights, and that last win was the decision against the Korean Zombie in 2020. Khabib has been retired for 3 years and has a more recent win than Brian.

Praise God man…. In the Bible Jesus says, “I am the way the truth and the life” …. What is Truth? Is Truth outside of man? Is Truth something that as man we can grab onto… to instill it into our daily life… to live in an accordance to the truth… truth is designed to break any lie that has been fed to you… What is the opposite of truth? When we begin to break down the concepts to deep understanding… to understand that lies are something evil and destructive… that truth is designed for good even if it hurts… even though Truth is difficult and sometimes can be revealing of faults, it is necessary not only as an inner truth… but something that we can grab onto… something that we can base our life behind… follow truth… and when Jesus says that he is THE WAY. THE TRUTH. THE LIFE…. Dive into him. Trust him. KNEEL BEFORE TRUTH IN YOUR LIFE EACH AND EVERYDAY… IT IS AND FOREVER WILL BE YOUR PURPOSE… to find truth and to live by it…. FIND IT IN JESUS.
