@@Eren-da-Jaeger its easier to build muscle when ur short. these guys are probably 5 foot 4-6. brian shaw is 6 foot 8. u gotta think of the camera angles
It still is very much exaggerated, just look at the ratio of his Hands vs his Head or His head vs the other guys head in the thumbnail. It's eddited Fromhis neck and soulders to his head, making the upper part bigger so that he overall feels a lot bigger
@@SlickNick98 Living in the Netherlands, this is more common then you think. A friend of mine is 1.97m, and is the second smallest of his family (except for his mother, who is still around 1.87m).
@@SlickNick98 Are those members of your family weighing 465 pounds and lifting 300 pounds with one arm? Maybe you are forgetting the conversation and making it about your family.
@@anonymousvip1665no, this dude is legit big and strong enough to take a chimp; if we're excluding their claws. I have zero doubts that he could straight up tear someone's face off like chimps can
Too nice. Not obsessed with fighting and psyche games. It would be interesting to see this guy in the Bakiverse just being chilled out, and then someone hurts a bystander for some macho Darwinist cringe and the guy just flattens them. No one sees it and they just walks off after making sure the victim is okay.
The coolest and most impressive thing about Brian Shaw is that even with that look and size, you can totally right away get a good vibe from him and tell this dude is probably a family man.
@@JT-km6th Yeap, I believe mainly because they live in a different world than normal sized people where we have to constantly watch our back, words and others. When you are as big as 0,01% or less than the whole population, the world around you literally changes to adapt to your size. You will hardly be faced with the wrong words or treatment, therefore your conception of how the world is must be quite different from most people whom might have to deal with a lot of shit throughout life. In other words, being a giant from all that matters seems to me like a peaceful and zenful life. He is truly blessed in his own way.
@@CivilizedWasteland hope you and the other tard here realize they're also not wearing shoes plus the fact that most bodybuilders are shorter than average just because shorter guys can pack on size with much more ease.
Yeah this is 212 division I’m pretty sure so idk who’s idea this was but they knew exactly what they were doing. This division is specifically for short people basically so they did this shit on purpose lmao.
I remember when this happened. All year a certain somebody’s ego got extremely Huge. So they invited Brian Shaw from who is a legend in the strong man competitions to….Humble certain guys. Those guys are not short or small. The guys in the strong man competition are massive and truly STRONG.
Dude Brian Shaw looks like the REAL Kingpin in that suit!! Holy crap, instantly makes kingpin way more intimidating when you realise he’d look like this but bigger
According to marvel’s website, Shaw & the Kingpin(6’7” 450) are basically the same size. Disney should definitely consider casting the man for at least a cameo.
@john_costello It might be hard for Shaw to play Kingpin, since he's such a nice guy I bet a villain would be tough for him to play, especially since he's not an actor
There was a hairy, short bodybuilder in the late 80s that I thought would've been perfect for the role of Wolverine. I can't remember his name but this was before the first X-Men movie and I was fantasy casting for a potential movie.
What's even crazier is that, by Shaw's account, at a car crash he ripped the door off a car. Don't remember if he got in the crash or just helped but he could make a very convincing act of being kingpin with a bit of lessons.
Yes! He’s impressive in size. Then when you get a realization of his heart, character and attitude, you see that those are just impressive as his size.
Brian is an amazing guy. Several years ago i texted him on facebook, asked if he could replay to me. he did. then i asked him for training tipps, he gave me some. i love this dude so much. Big guy with a big heart.
Brian shaw is a humble man and does not take life seriously. A good man who inspires people to get fit and enter the worlds strongest man in the future.
Why wouldn’t he be humble? He won the World’s Strongest Man competition. He has done nothing else of note. It isn’t an accomplishment that is universally lauded. In fact, most people have no idea who he is. It is a fringe sport. His enormous size also makes the fringe accomplishment all the less impressive. Most women aren’t sitting around drooling over Brian Shaw. They are drooling over guys who weigh less than 225 pounds. Most guys who want to be like Brian Shaw have mental and emotional problems.
@@russellgrimes3491 you obviously don't get what I mean. He is not a big headed and he is open to his fans and has won worlds strongest man four times. And that's some achievement in life. If you have a problem with Brian contact him via RU-vid or x and he will probably respond to your feelings towards him.
@@palanides5081 I would pay good money to see Eddie Hall be Spiderman. I want to see the actors try their hardest to act like that 350 pound wall of muscle is the small, nerdy, Peter Parker.
Much respect to him for taking down Arnold's picture after he told us all to screw our freedom. Shame that more people didn't speak up over the BS that started 4 years ago.
Remember when Eddie threw a medicine ball and hit Brian in the head? It would have KOed a normal person but it bounced off Brian's head like a Nerf ball. lol
Emanuel Yarbrough. 600 plus pound sumo. Got wrecked in the 1st UFC match ever. His teeth went flying out of his mouth. The good old days. No biting, no eye gouging, let's get it on.
@@swahler34 I believe that was the karate man Keith Hackney who knocked his teeth out. And I'm not sure that was even the most memorable part of the fight. Afterward, in the interview Hackney said something like, "I hit him with thirty four death blows to the back of the head and it didn't even faze him." Now that's a crazy fight.😁
If you ever wonder who motivates the best ufc fighters to keep training, its mfs like brian shaw who are not allowed to compete for fear of permanent injury to opponents.
He's big but imagine being a 6'3" college(LSU) student (me) and standing in line at Mr. Gatti's buffet and having an eclipse walk up next to you. I looked to my left and see Shaq bending at the waist to get his slice. I have fairly large hands but when I shook his hand it was literally like me shaking a 2yr old's hand. I ran in to him a few times on campus and his size never ceased to amaze me and he wasn't even close to how heavy he is now lol

5 foot 8 is short. I'm five foot 8.70 inches tall barefoot and usually five foot 9-9.5 with shoes on. 240 pounds People clown on me and say I'm short all the time
@@anonx8822 but I'm not talking out of my ass. The average height of a Mr olympia is two inches shorter than the average height of a regular American male. I get if you want to say there are no advantages and the fact they on average are shorter is a coincidence. But suggesting that the taller the better or that taller men have an advantage is not substantiated at all.
I respect strongmen not because they are strong but because almost all of them are friendly giants, these mfs can step on you and just rip your limbs off so thank god they are humble giants
hafthor bjornsson (the mountain) is one inch taller than Brian Shaw. They are both amazing. Brian seems like a best friend to everyone he meets, and that makes him really special.
Bodybuilders are typically short, because 20 extra pounds of muscle looks bigger on a short guy just like 20 extra pounds of fat looks worse. You just don't realize, because it's usually all (short) bodybuilders on the stage.
@able75dev60 must be true if someone said it... sounds reasonable. I made a mouse a suit and it only cost 3 dollars and a mouse is much smaller than big Brian Shaw.
Just because you are weak as f... k and have no idea about weight lifting, I suggest you to have a visit into a proper gym, buy a daily pass like into a museum and you will see that there are plenty of guys that they lift 200 ponds with one hand.
