I totally agree. I’ve seen Brian many times in the last few years and this is the best I’ve seen him. He’s doing a tour with Chicago in the summer, and I plan on seeing him.
I wish I could go back and know how great these guys were. All the music of my youth was awesome! Oh wow I get around Brian is wonderful in this concert.
Thank You, Frenite! Brian and his group on a good night. Got to go look for a complete "Salt Lake City" from this show. And "Do You Want to Dance" Rocked!!
@@Frenite it's looks good I love it so much it's looks amazing it's still a new DVD releases review history books documentary about biography book club fun more information on maze's contact info for years before I was looking for something like this time travel would definitely be there in
You were lucky. Just saw them open for Chicago and he was barely able to carry a vocal for half a song. Words were barely understandable. Listening to this video is like day and night. He is a legend and in the top 5 of all time. He is beloved.
Thank you. I’m seeing him with Chicago in July. I just watched a RU-vid video of him singing “God Only Knows” a couple days ago and he could barely get anything out. I think his voice comes and goes depending on the night.
We saw Brian and his band on July 8 in Boston. Poor guy seemed like he had no idea where he was or what was going on. He came out using a walker and needed help to sit and stand. He played no piano and maybe “sang” 4 words to one song. Very sad. He’s a worldwide treasure under any circumstances, however!
Thank you so much for posting this . I loved hearing Brian sounding so great. Fantastic musicians, every one of them ! Hoping they return to the East Coast next year.
@@Frenite Unfortunately, No. He came in well taken care of with personal attendants, stage management. They were not hard about it at all. The rest of the touring crew I had to work with were quite friendly, open, professional.
The security was overbearing unfriendly and rude. Our last time for the hard rock. NEVER AGAIN. The other casinos are friendly and welcoming. Fuck the hard rock!
Hi frenite. Great quality filming on your phone..I know from my experience at the beach boys in margate concert clips, that it isn't easy..very much appreciated for sharing this and a great set. :) hey, these smartphones use a lot of battery..😀
Watching this is quite a spiritual experience its great that al jardine still sings so great on help me Rhonda and sloop John b his voice is just fantastic
To be honest I didn't think he had a chance at it anymore but he really does sound better here than he has in years. Pretty impressive to see him come back so many times over the years. I hope he stays healthy and strong!
God bless you Brian !
I didn’t film the whole concert. This video was meant to be a highlights video of the concert. If you want to see a full Brian Wilson show, check out my video of Brian Wilson with Chicago last July.
@@knockedoutloaded279 His new album is basically just him playing the piano part of famous Beach Boys songs. It’s really not that special. There’s no new songs.
I love Brian, and have for well over 50 years. But, this is discouraging and heart breaking. He cannot sing. The piano is an unplayed prop to sit behind. He uses a walker. He appears distant, vague and uninvolved with the musicians and the audience. Does he want this? Does he know where he is? Why is he still out there? Why is he on the road, in airports and hotels? Why do the people who love him-- Mrs. Wilson, Al Jardine-- allow this? When is enough, enough? Brian will soon be 80. This strikes me as elder abuse. I await the cascade of comments that may rain down upon me.....
Believe it or not, this is the best he sounded at a concert in the last 5 years. He knows he can’t sing and isn’t a fraction of what he used to be, but he still loves going out there and performing. Nobody is forcing him to perform and it is his choice. He loves the music and simply can’t give it up. If he’s doing what he loves, then why stop him?
@@lynntempleton9640 Honestly, I'm sure you can hear...this is Elvis less than 6 weeks before he died.........ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0QqkMSDxU70.html
Very shameful. I used to only share clips of songs, but I’ve learned it’s best to share the entire concert. Last summer I attended a Brian Wilson/Chicago concert and made sure to film the songs in their entirety.
They havent been the Beach boys since Dennis and Carl died but Mike love obviously thinks he's "Mr Beach boys" he was allowed to Call his band the Beach boys he won the court case which gave him permission to do that
If you got up to dance even if there were empty rows surrounding you security would bum rush you to sit down or leave. So We Left. Never Again for that place...
