its got the master backing tracks in this, over and over, but Brian Wilson on stage with his work, and beautifully performed by Brian and his wrecking crew, She Knows Me too Well, best song ever, The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson the singer/writer
One of Brian's best songs, tend not to hear it on the radio in the UK....but never mind, we can always hear Good Vibrations for the five thousand and tenth time.
Well now, I've heard 3 guys take on this almost impossibly difficult lead vocal : Jeff Foskett / Brian Eichenberger / Matt Jardine. As none have BW's " whine", all 3 just barely miss the mark, but all get credit for a great shot at a vocal lead to confound anyone! ------------------WolfSky9, 71 y/o
Jeff does well on this song. Brian was singing off and on - doing the lower harmony. He knows he can't hit those higher notes anymore and would rather relinquish the song to Jeff who still can do it well. Love you, Bri!
@acedecade75 How can you say Jeff is arrogant?! Of course it's Brian that want Jeff to sing those songs because he don't have the same vocal ability like he had in the sixties. D
Brian not performing his own song he was lead singer on. Figures Foskett would sing it. This is nothing but a Beach Boys Tribute band featuring Brian Wilson.
Fantastic song, but I've had enough of the arrogant Jeff Foskett. Let BRIAN perform what he's comfortable singing. It's hard to see a true legend like BRian Wilson sitting onstage with Jeff being the one in the spotlight. Jef's a fan who got lucky.
What's funny is I think he's better in falsetto when accompanying Brian- they make a great duo in the efforts to maintain Brian's "voice"..He is totally flat in some spots here which surprises me.
