As an American, I was doing some work in the UK, and the company put me up in Windsor - my first night there I noticed a sign outside Windsor Station pointing toward Slough - NO WAY! I thought it was a fictitious town from The Office series. That was a trip I wasn’t about to miss. Filled my belly with a couple pints and grabbed the next train out. Next morning when asked by my new English colleagues how I spent my evening, they were shocked and thought it very funny that of all places, I would choose to explore Slough. I found it to be quite pleasant. Oh Slough, how I miss thee..

Comedian or not that's some good singing.

There is actually soul in his voice. He’s taking the piss with soul on par with bob Dylan and zombie by the cranberries. Ricky is a genuine artist

I'm from up north and I listen to this regularly a touching beautiful clever and poignant great piece of music about the small market town of Slough England,,, Everything ricky does or touches just turns to gold, his talent has absolutely no end. Ricky Gervais is a global superstar icon for all the right reasons.

It's a legitimately good song. Love it. That modulation at the end was savvy.

It freaks me out when the 'King of Awkward' shows us his musical talent. Not so awkward at the moment though. Just really, really good.
