so was the Knick vs Sixers and Nuggets vs Lakers the day before..they play hard, it's shippy, physical defense is allowed...I hope that young kids now understand what we meant when we said basketball in the 90/00s was overall better..

I just think the overall officiating changes in the playoffs which allows the game to be more physical and the atmosphere is way different idk why the refs wait till the playoffs to bring 90’s/2000’s hoops back 😭

@@spenser6353 so all teams in the playoffs were established at the trade deadline. So that is the fairest way to judge all of them. Since then, Dallas has been the 2nd best team in the league with a top 6 defense. The Clippers barely over .500 at 15th with a 23rd ranked defense. They haven’t been a good defensive team all year long. You just saw in the first 2 games that the Clippers defensive had nothing to do with their wins. Dallas couldn’t make open shots, I have you the stats as proof of that. That’s uncommon for Dallas. Their great defense always bails them out on bad shooting nights, which they didn’t play great defense in Game 1. Game 2 is a prime example of that. Now, when Dallas hits those shots like they normally do, the Clippers do not have the defensive capabilities to stop them. They’ve shown it since the deadline and shown it in the first 2 game.

@@spenser6353 Clippers don’t have a deeper bench. Game 2 the Clippers ran a 9 man rotation (players playing any amount) and Dallas ran 10. None of it was garbage time. Game 1 Dallas ran 10 guys more than 5 minutes (had 3 play 1 minute in garbage). Clippers played 8 without Kawhi

The reality is the series is tied 1-1 and going back to Dallas. Long story short, doesn't matter how you lose.

the reality is the mavs had one of the worst quarters in their franchise history in game 1. outside of that 22-8 second quarter, the mavs actually outscored the clippers throughout the other 3 quarters lol. theyve been the better team. we were just rusty and they had originally been prepared for kawhi to play game 1. him being out made their mental edge simmer down a bit. now the role players will be even more confident for game 3 and either luka and kyrie is due for a 35 bomb atp
