He's Shooter and Waylon And all rolled up in one. And his beautiful daughter, I see so much of her Grandmother Jesse in her it's like an Angel sent from Heaven. Thank God Waylon had such a beautiful family to carry on his legacy. I also admire the way some of the songs you do together it's obvious how you are singing to Waylon. I will never forget the day I answered the phone and heard my dads voice after the prision recording. 14 yrs old and time stopped right there. I walked miles to see him on Sundays. Those steps felt like forever with such a heavy heart. His fsther passed away while he was gone and he was denied going to the funeral. You think youre grown at 14 but i realized I needed him more than ever. In Ga we dont have an "attempted murder" charge. Agg assault with a deadly weapon. They made an example of out of him and severed his time but a piece of me died. The innocence was gone. I thought i was over it. Clearly, after listening to this, Im not. It was buried somewhere down deep but thru the pain I can recognize how much we have both changed and the absolute appreciation for God giving us both the strength to build such an amazing relationship. I needed the reminder so Thank you, to both of you. I needed this more than you'll ever know ❤
