We sat down with dance superstar @BriarNoletOfficial to talk about her passion for dance and her epilepsy journey. Web: www.epilepsy.org.uk Twitter: / epilepsyaction Facebook: / epilepsyaction Instagram: / epilepsyaction
Mary Dermi I cant tell if you’re joking or not. Don’t get me wrong Tiffany was my favourite character in season 1, but she wasn’t the best dancer. There were worse dancers of course though (Emily and Stephanie)
I never knew she had epilepsy! :0 I'm glad that she doesn't let it define her and hold her back from doing what she wants. As someone who also suffers from seizures (although they're non-epileptic), this is a really nice thing to see. :)
Her flexibility and dance skills are insane shes my inspiration she so fierce and powerful she doesn't let her condition stop her had I really admire that❤❤❤
@@maddiesconfusedlife9023 I made this comment a long time ago I'm sorry if you don't like the word condition I was just trying to show my love towards her
Woah I watched her at the next step tour. I NEVER knew she had epilepsy. I feels so bad for her. I know a lot of people have it but it’s the facts she gets through it so well I didn’t even know she had it!!
Alisha Rivera there is no need to be scared I have epilepsy and iv had it since I was 5 and now I’m 13 and I still have it your not alone don’t be scared 😊
You should get a dog she/he my comfort you a bit and there are trained dogs where they lick and you are try and wake u up when u have seizure’s trained dogs would be good
There are no words I can say, I've suffered depression for 2 years because of what my Epilepsy puts me through, I've been watching The Next Step since season 1 & all this time I never knew briar nolet had it too, she is my favourite actress & now I feel we have a special bond
Briar , your are one of my favorite dancers of all time . Now knowing you have the same kind of epilepsy as me (absence epilepsy) is so inspiring because my journey has been so difficult dealing with it also in my dance classes . Striving in dance is also all I have due to everything that’s happened in my epilepsy journey & it’s refreshing seeing how much you do regardless of it . You’ve come so far & are a true role model for dancers in the epilepsy community 💜 THANK YOU !
I love how she talks about it because when people don’t it often makes people with epilepsy feel alone. I wish it gets talked about more otherwise people joke about it.
When i started a new medication i started having seizure like behaviour but i could hear everything around me even when i am passed out for like 10 seconds so this is such a touching story
I’m glad she is talking about epilepsy she doesn’t seemed worried if I was talking about this I would cry or just stop she is amazing and doesn’t let her condition stop her she is so brave and fierce and a amazing dancer xxxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just wanna share with all you guys battling with epilepsy, i'm still in medication with my epilepsy. I got better much much better with my epilepsy because of dancing. I began dancing salsa like 3 years ago, and now my eeg showed a VERY SIGNIFICANT improvement! My doctor considered on reducing the dose of the medication for the next 8 months. Thankyou for letting me share my story here. Love you guys!
She’s my inspiration and makes me so much stronger because I have epilepsy and it’s so scary I take 6 pills a day and end up in the ER a lot of times for 11 I’m a dancer to and I love briar thank you so much briar
I fell so inspired by briar because I'm a dancer and I have epilepsy. I understand all of the situations that she descibes. My worst fear with my epilepsy was that I can't not dance like before but I'm so lucky and happy beacuse I can continue to dance normally. I love Briar's strength and she is really someone that inspire me every day :). A french fan of the next step and dance lover

There are some rare/uncommon types of epilepsy, but many types are quite common. It's always nice knowing you're not alone, because it gives you hope that you'll improve.
