I think it’s a UK thing, a lot of people I’ve met on site love it because of the jokes, atmosphere and you pick up a lot watching how other people do things.

100mm doesn't fit into 100mm tell all the builders. Get 85 it expands. They moan saying your blockwork is out that's coz of the fucking insulation is too big. Been working on 10 houses with 125 n had to cut every piece in half so it don't push the blockwork out
Great vids as always, but for fuck sake Charlie, train your guys how to build leads or they will never amount to shite. There is a time and place for short cuts but as a captain you are teaching them how to use life boats instead of steering a ship.

Lewis In this video the insulation is against the outside wall. There must be a space in between to prevent the insulation from getting wet en spreading to the inner wall. That’s bad building.

Hey Charlie I've noticed when you build corners you put 1 brick or block on level and plum it then do the rest of the course. Any reasons you do it this way? Its the way I do it too. Most people I see just smash 3 or 4 down then level and plum them.
Well... looks like RU-vid has dictated I should watch this. Started off with just some apprentice prank videos, and here I am. I know f all about anything even slightly related to construction, yet this is somehow still enjoyable to watch. I'd suggest looking into a wind muff to kill the wind noises though. Those were pretty intense!
@@de4n723ah thats good to know im a plasterer since 1981 but do building as well and I've never used thermal both sides but charlie doing it so must be ok plus lighter on ur arms lol
