amazing. come to think of it, i would rather spend the days making bricks for my house as opposed to working somewhere else or for someone else to earn the money to by bricks
anarchist393 Well you got it wrong! yeah fuck working but working is good for me mentally at most 4 hours a day to buy nice shit and pay the phone bill. Its nice when you don't have to pay rent, no need to work 40 hours + to make it by!
Q1~Can the bricks was ok if it was same size mold as the hollow block? Q2~ how many hour or day to wait for drying process to begin using it? Q3~Can i use it on House to replace hollow blocks as alternative? pls answer ty
Q1 = Yes, you can use it as what you want with the mold and size type, but remember to keep the size is not too thin. Q2 = It take 2 days drying under the sun. Dry bricks are not strong enough with the water and extreme climate, so you must burn it till the color change into red. There is a bricks gate from 13 centuries here : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paduraksa. Q3 = 100% guaranteed ! Mostly here we use bricks for our House. And you can use it under water too. Thank you for watching my video, thank you for asking and greeting from Java, Indonesia.
Oke, wait till the bricks are dry then you can burn it. If you wanna try this, you can use a small mold, make some small and thin bricks and dried then burn into red color, you will know how strength it between the two type..
Yes they have to, all night long.. till the bricks change the color into red and max the strength. Thank you for watching, greeting from Java, Indonesia
Not water proof, but this bricks have long term use, you can use it for under water construction building, like the bridge, pond, dam etc, here we use another type of the bricks for the water well too. This bricks can absorb water, there is many very old building from the 1800 that use bricks and still in good condition right now, this bricks made from clay, dirt, sand, husk ash and water. If you can't find any clay, then you can use only good dirt, make sure the dirt have less sands, pure dirt is better. There is no exact size or volume to mixed it with the dirt, at least use other media like sand, ash 5% of the dirt volume. Then mixed with the water, pour mixed dirt into the mold, keep it dry under the sun, then you have crude bricks. Final steps of the bricks is burn it into the fire till the color change to red. Thank you for watching and greeting from Java.
Primary is clay or mixed dirt, use some small portion sand, and you can add more ash. Mixed that all ingredients with water and put in a mold, dry under the sun, then you can burn that bricks till the color change to red. Thank you for asking and watching my video, greeting from Java, Indonesia.
You have to use good clay, if you don't have clay, you can make it like wet clay by mixing soft dirt and hard enough dirt composition. The clay or dirt mixed with sand and rubbing ash. You can make rubbing ash by burning the skin of wheat or rice. If you difficult to find this thing, you can make it by burning grass or weeds. Then mixed clay, sand and ash with water then put on mold. You can burn that dry bricks into red color. Thanks for watching.
Pure sand, but.. you can use any sand around you, you must burn it till the color of the bricks change to red. Thank you Lathawhpuia, greeting from Java, Indonesia
Very interesting. I always like to see the pre-industrial methods of making things. I really dislike how lazy and reliant on technology the western world has become.
It's good knowledge to know how to make things with primitive methods. However without modern technology you are left with extreme poverty and despair. These people aren't using this method by choice but rather necessity. They don't have the machinery to put mass production in place. However the old way should always be known because you never know when civilization might collapse.
Actually it's just a free mark by the man, each man can have their own mark on that bricks. Technically, cavity by this mark can increase the strength of the bricks, modern bricks by factory also use mark in both side of the bricks and they use bigger and deeper cavity mark. Thank you for watching. Greeting from Java, Indonesia.
It is called frog mark . It resembles the company name . It also has a structural purpose . The mortar used to join the bricks together gets inside the frog mark and actually helps the bricks to join each other and give the structure more strength :)
You are talking about shrinkage without knowing that its just normal.people making breaks. Ahahaha.. But based on the raw mata he used, i can guarantee to you that these bricks are light wieght with a density of 1.5 to 2.0 true density while bulk density ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 i sopposed
Just one simple question. I’m not trying to be a smart ass. But why doesn’t he mix the concrete mix closer to him? Maybe there is a good explanation that I don’t see.
Thank you, primary is clay or mixed dirt, use some small portion sand, and you can add more ash. Primary thing is good Clay, enough ash and sand then mixed by clean water, put your mixed clay to your brick mold, Flatten and press evenly then remove the mold and wait until dry. And the last is burn that brick using high temperature fire, we use logs or you can use coal etc. A good bricks have good red color and strong. Thanks for watching.
