The BRICS consist of developing countries, and these countries have desire to have their independent but they are suppressed by the west in all aspect. Example if they fall out of line they will be warned or sanctioned, or worst their leader replaced. The west had been rich at the back of these countries cheap labour, raw material, fuels, etc. by keeping the developing countries poor for centuries. There are some African & developing nations still have no clean or convenient water, electricity, connectivities, basic infrastructure, etc..BRICS provide an alternative and these countries like is principle or policies and show interest to join.
