Western when promoting capitalism : competition is good for business, and then forced developing countries opening their market and resources. Western when global south trying to introduce competition : over capacity, dedollarization is bad, and then put sanction/tarrifs on countries.
yeah right, LOL... I have heard that for 8 years now. The russian/china BRICS Internet Troll factory --- the comment section always has ONE or TWO of you people with SEVERAL different aliases making several anti-USA/West comments. You know, making it look like there are 20 or more people who HATE the US and the WEST. God, get a life. 1. Log in as .............. 2. Log out. 3. Log back in as ........ and add more anti-USA/West comments. 4. Log out. 5. Log in as....... Like my other aliases comments and add more pro-russia/china/india stories.

Lol there are no disagreements buddy none, why would a sovereign country issuing its own currency want to hold US dollars? Why would they want to pass through New York and pay fees at wall street. Why would a currency issuing state want to hold and forced to trade with a currency they can't print? Any country that issue's it's own country will be interested in BRICS afterall trading and borrowing in your own currency decreases depreciation which is very important for developing countries they can finally borrow at fair interest rates and its central bank can support economic development by printing, you know like how the US has had that unfair privilege since post WW2. Not surprised Bloomberg who's a spokespersons for wall street is downplay the significance of this shift in global world order

GO BRICs!!! GO BRICs!!! ---- NO to Sanctions!! NO to Central Banks stealing other Countries Money!! NO to Economic Bullying!! NO to a Uni-Polar World!! ------ EQUALITY FOR ALL NATIONS!!!
BRICS it’s just another lending institution like all the others. There will be no change for its members other than using China’s currency as the main building block. It will be no different than during the Cold War. The West will continue to prosper without them.
no we in BRICS dont involve with what other countries does internally, if Turkey or any other countries wants to be part of both organizations, we as BRICS would respect their choices!
Thanks again, Bloomberg, for telling me what I should think! Not that anyone believes a word you say anymore after repeated episodes of reporting utter BS as fact. One word - RATINGS.

Here is one question I pose to pro BRICS supporters. At the end of the day who runs the system? Whose currency backs the debt that the system generates. I’d say it would be China. After all they stand as one of the largest developed nations, but all the other BRICS nations would disagree with this assessment. Each of them would like their own currency to be the reserve. And this is where the BRICS alliance fails. It is fragile and weak. Not strong and independent. It is laughable at best.
I'm not sure you have a proper understanding of the issues at stake. Using one country's currency as the reserve is, in fact, one of the big problems the BRICS nations are trying to solve because the country who owns the reserve currency can weaponize it against others as we've seen with the USD. So why would they duplicate a problem they're actively trying to solve? Most likely, the BRICS system would be backed by gold.
The only thing that’s going to change is that we’re going to revert to Cold War standards. And guess what? The West will still prosper just like it always has as the others watch on with envy.
My idea is not to have Russia isolate itself from the world and pushing Brics to isolation. My idea is to convince them have deals with the world, while keeping their nationalistic interest.
