The dress her dad liked was a style that I think suited her figure best, but you could see how uncomfortable she was in it. She picked the right dress because she loved it and it made her happy.

Dad has an excellent sense of style, his favourite was by far the best and she looked absolutely stunning.

I'm familiar with Kleinfeld's, even back when it was in Brooklyn. I know this is reality TV, so they hype up the drama, conflict, exceeded budgets, etc. What I loved about dealing with them in real life is that they never asked any of the three family brides that bought there to ever show their families gowns they didn't like. Bride first, entourage second. And they always stuck to the budget. Very happy with customer service over forty years and three happy brides. (No, I don't work for them!)

She chose the dress she liked, not the dress that suited her body the best. The one her dad liked, also the one she wouldn't show to her family were both perfectly flattering to her body.

The drop waist ballgown with the ruching was absolutely gorgeous! 6:40 It made me sad how uncomfortable she was, and how critical we can be of ourselves, it looked great on her

I totally understand her. Most people think I have an amazing body because I work out a lot and they always tell me I should wear something more form fitting. But I don't feel comfortable at all! I'm always in baggy clothes. I would also go for a dress that would cover my belly.

This is such a testament to the fact that we all have our insecurities and don’t see ourselves as other people do. I relate very much t9 that aspect of this bride. She was unreal in those dresses, especially the one her father loved, but if you’re not comfortable it doesn’t matter. You won’t even be able to enjoy the day. I’m glad she got the dress she loved ANd was comfortable in.

I wonder if she has body dysmorphia. She hates dresses that look stunning on her.

She has such a great Boston Italian family!

She seems so indifferent about all of them. I feel as if she was just tired of it, her dad not agreeing with her, and the workers not finding what she asked for. She specifically said no too much boobage, yet all of them showed a lot of it. So, she settled on a dress that was close to what she had in mind, and just dealt with it.

I think she needs to do some inner work on her body image issues, but a wedding is not a time to challenge them. She should definitely pick what she feels best in, so I'm glad for her.

The Monique Lhullier dress she chose was underwhelming. You can't see the waistline on it because it's obscured by all those flaps of fabric....

I hope she put some straps on the gown, or that it fits better when it’s bespoke for her. She kept tugging on the top which tells me her chest is so large she needs more support for the girls.

I think the one she didn’t even go out in actually looked amazing on her. She hated the way she looked in it but it really did look very nice on her. We are our own worse enemies. I’m not saying it was the dress for her but just that she did look very nice in it.

What I've always wondered is, do the professionals recommend and pick dresses on the reality of the brides height, weight and bone structure? It would seem body type and how you photograph in the dress should be the priorities.

Tanya is like me on fitted wedding dresses like the Mermaid styles. I don't like that fitted look because I feel like I couldn't move around for the hours I'll be in it. I know many like them, but to each their own. I glaf she stood up for herself and picked a dress she liked most. 😊

Wow. She said her theme was shabby chic, and that was no joke. Dress is a little too far on the shabby side for my taste. But as long as she loves it.
