Me too…I’m 67 and I’m still a daddy’s girl even though he’s been gone 25 years this May. I lost my mom when I was 26 and he became my best friend and touchstone. I was always a daddy’s girl, being the youngest and only girl, but the bond just got stronger after she passed.

It is not because they 'make more money that way." It is because, with such a large budget, most brides will not consider a dress without the extra details that cost money. If she had asked for something really simple, maybe. But she asked for something that will go with a country club wedding. And she likes the sparkle. She likes the bridal satin. You are too jaded to be real. They sell thousands of dresses, and they will still make a lot of money whether they sell one that is a little lower than the budget on this appointment. Pulling really cheap dresses during this appointment would have been a waste of time. And, considering she wanted customization, she needed a Pnina gown that can be easily customized. So there's that.

I no longer have daddy issues because I’ve dealt with them but, it’s sad to know that I missed something that I should of had. It feels like being robbed but, you just have to accept it.
