@@sallykins3800Well , my sister was always mean to me , but no longer since I stood up to her twelve months ago . 68 years ! We get on really well and I am respected and not bullied .

I agree and I have had relatives and siblings bully me too. It is more painful when it is family.

@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj So true. Growing up in a toxic environment like that can have a terrible impact on someone - on their sense of belonging, self-worth, and spirit. That kind of stress can also lead to long-term physical ailments.

@@susanfraser6371You are so right and I am suffering from low confidence, self esteem and many other things as I was traumatized so much. Those who bullied me have mostly passed away but the impact and trauma that caused me will stay with me for life. Sadly family bullies still exist in my life but I got stronger so fight back now. I regret not fighting back sooner.

The two super fat sisters were likely told to hype up and exaggerate any perceived drama---everyone knows "reality" tv isn't at all real, it's nothing but lies, and the wedding dress ones are at the top of the list for what the producers will do to increase ratings. This episode is from 2010. It's possible that all the sisters are married now. At least three of them were too young to be married 14 years ago, so there was no "curse" on them back then.

None of it is in the present progressive time frame. This episode is from 2010, and at least three of the girls were much too young to be married 14 years ago. The two super fat sisters could well be married by now. Everyone knows that "reality" tv is nothing but lies, everything is exaggerated because the producers tell the (entourage, in this case) to hype up any tiny, wee bit of drama they want to see.

Why regular women have to try on huge size samples?

Old shows these are, the salons have upped their sizes. Used to be larger brides were not welcome in select high end Salons. That trend changed and I'd still suggest a visit to a David's Bridal chainstore to get ideas of shapes, and fits before heading to spend the big bucks at elite salons where you won't get a great try on experience, but yes a better fabric perhaps.
