Well done on sorting the lift section Lord Al, so its right it does not rain it just pours (lol) thought I had a issue with my sound. I'm sure your aware if engine management light is on at time of test your car will fail its MOT. Your engine management light which came on may have been the pre or post Lambda sensor hence why the exhaust system had a fault, hope you get it sorted. Good work on the bridge Alan. Shame about the car. My daughter took hers in for a minor problem. Garage couldn’t start it, had it for 2 days. Ended up costing £500! My son’s insurance on his BMW was due and insurance was nearly 50% higher than last year. He’s ended up buying an Audi A3 with the insurance less than for the BMW. (Coincidentally just days before the MOT was due on the BMW.) Cars are a necessary pain. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Roy.
Well done on fixing the bridge mate. I have bought the Hornby Railways 1988 track plans book recently and one of my goals is to make layout 11 from that booklet but I will use third and fourth radius track so the newer models don't go throwing tantrums on me ;). This Sunday, I will be doing a retro Hornby Train Set unboxing and review. Not sure if the retro train sets are of interest to you mate but I thought I would give you the heads up. My days in N scale are numbered as being partially sighted in one eye, my vision isn't what it used to be. I have a lot of N scale video reviews pre-recorded but I will be swaying more back to OO gauge sooner than I thought and I did miss Hornby but I will be staying with sale only for new models and pre-owned/secondhand for most of them as I can still enjoy the OO gauge models and stay in the hobby :). Things do age just as we do and wear out. A nice repair job. I am trying to make a Metcalff Viaduct go around a corner, but it has driven me around the bend instead. Martin (Thailand)

I had a renault same as your fiat, turbo used to stop on the motorway, leaving me in the outside lane with reduced power. I found out that on the Renault web site everybody was talking about electic problems and Renault could'nt fix them as there were so many. Keep safe Frank

You mustn't have Murphy living on your layout. If i said, " no issues what so ever", while my train was running, the train would stand up on it's hind wheels and take a dive off the railroad. Nice job Sir Al

Again an excellent video Alan - love the use of plastic fishplates to keep everything lined up. Any ideas how you will hide the wires within the landscaping, a bit of lineside scrub and ballast? I'd be interested in your thoughts there. Kind wishes.
I have three of those nuclear flask wagons too and although I like the Accurascale models, there is no point in me buying them. There is always something else to do on a model railway layout.

Bob on with the box shifter price, The one I often have a dig at now asking £17 for the old old MGR. I`m not mystic meg but I see a new car in your future. I`m still trying to find a run about that will get me to MK. your up on the track repairs again your busier than Network rail.
The trouble with box snifters they only give you a tenner and sell them for 50 . And as for mystic meg . her in door is looking for a new car ..untill she see`s the prices .lol. while we were out shopping we found the same car as ours on a forecourt same year same miles and the same price we paid for ours 5 years ago...She walked a way i was pissing my self laughing...lol.. Allan, have a look at Soss hinges. Concealed. Might need a bit of extra wood and locating dowels at the other end. I am going to use them. Not expensive. Cheers, Pete
Sorry to say no safety .but there`s no way you can hold the bridge up on there own. The only time you lift them is to going into the shed and when leaving. Hope that helps put your mind rest plus every portal has a flap on each track to witch i have to open at each session . plus it stops the squirrels getting in at night...lol.. Cheers Fred for watching .. Now the car is a Fiat500l with all the toys in side. It`s a 13 plate Fred . 66000 miles on it . Now here`s the daft or best bit .depends how you look at it.. We bought the car 5 years ago now ( SECOND HAND ) £7500 . So the wife says let look for an other car and trade this one in .. But we actually came across the very same car as ours . same year same mileage but not as good as ours. for the same price £7500 . i said no way is that right 5 years on and your still paying the same amount. At that point we stopped looking ..It`s cheaper to fix ours ...lol..
Yes and No . Track cutters do a very good job of straight edge cut.Quick and simple if you dremel cut you still need to check for burs.Track cutters are less than £20 quick and simple. Either way way is good so it`s your choice. Thank you so much for watching and your comments.
