A charming hillwalk in the eastern corner of the Cairngorms region. Lovely views over the valley of the River Avon especially. I took the idea for this walk from www.walkhighla...
As usual, some route information added.

By chance this is one of my least viewed vids Eddy. If you've got the time [remembering the job & all your wildcamps] have a look at my last 3 ... started using the GoPro 6 with the video stabilization [quite an improvement on thát aspect]. By now quite in need of the X-mas recuperation period!

Not enough Peter ... left my head in the highlands i fear! And for now will have to make do with hatching new schemes for the next year! And yes indeed - the last week we were quite lucky with our timing. Happy about that.

I remember passing through here last year on the way to Lochnagar, a nice area tucked away off the beaten track. The Eastern Cairngorm Munro's of Ben Avon and Beinn a Bhuird would make a good overnight trip Wilco in this area, or you can go in from Braemar too, another one for next year maybe?.

Though very sleepy at that early Lochnagar time - we remembered that spot too Mick! And for now ... a whole lotta winter to think about the next expeditions ... pfff ....
