One of my favorite details about Godot is that he blames Phoenix for Mia's death over the man who actually killed her, Redd White. and then later we learn Godot can't see red on white.
And Dahlia's hair is red. When he saw her that night all he could see is red. HIS SHIRT WAS RED AND HE CHANGED TO GREEN WHEN HE SAW PHOENIX WAS A DEFENSE ATTOURNEY. A DEFENSE ATTOURNEY WHO IS PREDOMINANTLY BLUE. Shu Takumi, you're on some other level I can't fathom.
This franchise does an incredible job at referencing/reusing poses with slight alterations between different characters (often ones who are related or who spend a lot of time together), like how Franziska clutches at her sleeve just like her dad (for very different reasons obvs lol) or how baby Edgeworth has more von Karma-isms in the flashback case like the finger wagging pose. It's excellent silent storytelling that's a really consistent high point throughout the series and I love it sm
The Feys have a few poses referencing each other, Iris and Dahlia have the Pearl stare, for example. But as stated by the previous comment, this franchise does that a LOT with characters related in some way (not just by blood).
@Flameclaw123 they had done such a good job with characters posing similar to eachother in ways that like tied them together that on my first playthrough I put together that the bullet was in von karma's arm and that it would be revealed because he'd get mad enough to slam the desk like Edgeworth since Edgeworth obviously copies his whole shtick besides snapping. And that was like very early in the case. Really felt great to be validated about that, it was like a little reward. I like read the whole case, and case within a case from like a mile away
I love the detail of Iris always blushing around Phoenix. Except immediately after the earthquake, in the Inner Temple, all of the Iris sprites were no longer blushing, a subtle way to tell Dahlia was there before you come to the conclusion in the trial. I look forward to hearing thoughts on Apollo Justice.
i'm sure someone's mentioned this already, but the reason Janet Hsu doesn't have any voice roles besides Franziska is because they (like the rest of the voice cast) are actually a member of the localization team! the og japanese voice clips were similarly recorded by the dev team, with Phoenix originally being voiced by Shu Takumi himself!
For the record, Janet Hsu (voice of Franny) is also director of the Ace Attorney localization team, I believe across the entire franchise. Voice work isn’t their main gig by any stretch lol
@@tlblitz42 yeah, good for them! it was relatively recent, too, considering their lack of social media accounts where one would normally check. first mention of it was in an interview with kotaku back in february ahead of the aj trilogy release. also just a really good interview btw, pronoun reveal aside.
@@vedji1857 if we’re taking about who’s had the most impact on localization over all - and, thus, the names - that would also be janet hsu. they’ve been apart of the localization team since justice for all and localization director for the series since dual destinies, including non-mainline series games like dgs and the new official translation for aai2. they’ve written a ton of blog posts for the official aa website as well as their own personal blog, and i can’t recommend them highly enough. the translation notes for context-sensitive localization issues are always a trip, like puzzles that wouldn’t otherwise make sense if they used a pure literal translation from the jp (i’m still stunned by how they were able to make the “gravely roast” thing work in english), and ofc the pun names, like when they shared all the names they scrapped on the way from localizing “odoroki housuke” into “apollo justice.”
Once again, your Iris/Dahlia voice is PEAK! you voiced Dahlia’s snippiness and despair so well, and Iris is such a wet cat of a girl and you depicted her perfectly.
I played the original ace attorney trilogy maybe 2-3 years ago. I know how things generally ended for each case, but forgot a lot of the particulars-experiencing this entire case again, following along with the vod and your reactions, made me feel all the emotions I felt when I first played through it myself…cannot believe I *still* cried my second time watching Bridge to Turnabout unfold-and I’m not even the one playing! Also, I loooove the voices you did for these characters! Some ones I liked especially were Franziska (you expressed her dialogue in a way I didn't, like, really interpret it on my playthrough and I just found her so much more endearing through your read of her) and Godot (love the voice you chose for him, the deepness of it, and the subtle changes and inflections at certain moments, even minor parts, aaagh it was great. also im crying for him. and everyone in this case. oh my god.) Also I don't know if this was stated anywhere in-game or already easily inferred by other people but not so fun fact! I believe the reason why Godot only likes his coffee black and bitter (after the incident, at least) is because the last time his coffee had any other substances/impurities in it was when he was poisoned by Dahlia Anyways good vod great vod impressive vod I am BACK in my ace attorney phase
its hilarious to me that i played the first case and a half of the first game a couple years ago, got back into it a couple weeks ago, rewatched pennys old streams after playing the first game, loved them and got disappointed that there wasnt more, and only a couple days after i finish the trilogy these two glorious vods of the final case drop onto my lap. loved pennys reaction to this case, its character moments, its reveals, its melodrama, it's all so goddamn peak.
Ace Attorney games are great bc they're like Phoenix: lays out a well-defended case with multiple valid contradictions Prosecutor: "No" Judge: "I'm sorry Mr. Wright but they do have a point" And it rules every time
Yeah its kinda sad Ace Attorney is based on Japan's legal system and i heard that Defense attorney there are treated like in the game (since Prosecutors have a higher rank)
I am so happy Penny came around on Godot. He's no doubt an incredibly flawed character, and when she saw _that_ line of dialogue, I thought it was over, especially knowing how much Franziska means to her. I want to state for the record that what Godot says to Franziska is not okay, but I have always seen it as a repression of the qualities he saw in Mia and less the "blatant misogyny" that every one else sees. He hates women like Franziska _because they remind him of his lost love._ But I recognize that my interpretation might be a stretch and I do not resent anyone who fails to look past some of the terrible things he says. He's bitter until the very end, but ultimately my biggest hope is that others can see past that and appreciate the deeper complexities that forge his character. Thank you for streaming this Penny. I have been OBSESSIVELY keeping up with your Tumblr posts and they have been a DELIGHT.
It's very interesting. I know there are a lot of people who started out liking Godot because of his suave demeanor, ludicrous metaphors, and mysterious past but who ended up really disliking him because of Turnabout Beginnings and especially Bridge to the Turnabout. That line to Franziska is pretty much the poster-child of the turn his character took that put him off to so many, and for very good reason. It very directly depicts Godot's sense of superiority to everyone and specifically frames it towards women. Godot is super embittered towards the world, but has mostly lashed out against Phoenix in much less direct (but nonetheless hurtful) ways, so the turn to hating on Franziska and saying it's because he "can't stand women like [her]" is pretty sudden and shocking and, therefore, memorable. What he says is undoubtedly incorrect, and his idea of Phoenix needing to "save Mia" and Godot himself needing to "save Maya" to make up for his inability to protect Mia cements his misogyny. But like you said, I don't think it's as clear-cut as Godot being a "blatant misogynist," but more so a bad trait being exacerbated because he doesn't want to focus on any positives in his life or himself anymore: like he says, Godot "slept his best days away" and doesn't care about his future at all, only revenge. So, take a guy who is already pretty condescending, especially to greenhorns like Mia and Edgeworth in Turnabout Beginnings, have his life be ruined by a young woman, take the love of his life away by a comic book villain while he's effectively gone from her life, and you have the perfect storm for Godot to lash out at Franziska in the way that he did. It's completely wrong and irrational, but that's definitely the intention. I interpreted a lot of Godot's animosity towards everyone as the residual anger from his life being torn apart for effectively trying to do the right thing (catching Dahlia and serving her a hot blend of justice for the murder she clearly committed, the theft she clearly orchestratedm and the wound she undeniably put in Mia's heart). He hates Phoenix because Phoenix unknowingly helped Dahlia conceal evidence of his own poisoning (hence why he says that ignorance is a heinous crime in of itself) and because Phoenix had the nerve to become a defense attorney and the audacity to literally replace Mia's name with his own on the legal office. He wants to face Phoenix in court because he thinks Phoenix is dishonoring Mia's legacy, but he also says that his primary reason for hating Phoenix was that he didn't protect Mia, an unfair responsibility for Phoenix to bear and an unfair assumption that Mia could not protect herself. A lot of this is internalized regret over clocking out before everything came to pass, which is also an unfair burden for himself, that manifests itself in a way that clouds Godot's judgment and causes him to believe that not only would things have gone differently if someone protected Mia, but that someone (namely Phoenix, the only person working for her at the time) HAD to protect her. That same clouded judgment carried over into Bridge to the Turnabout, where Godot finally admits that all the tragedy at Hazakura Temple could have been avoided had he contacted PHOENIX about Morgan's plan, rather than just straight-up telling Maya NOT to go there under any circumstances. Even when the game depicts Godot as redeemed, it still makes the effort to show that he is still misguided, but that it is no longer born of self-hatred and bitterness. He realizes that he is arrogant, though, and both he and Mia believe that the outcome of the trial was what he was really seeking and needed. Now that he can forgive Phoenix for something he, Godot, and Mia had no control over, and now that he can face the truth that his life since the moment he awoke from his coma was one entirely built on revenge, the game implies (to me, at least) that even though Godot's actions were wrong, irrational, and unjustified, they were mostly a result of stenuous circumstances that brought out the worst in him. That isn't to say that, had he not been poisoned, had Mia not died, had Dahlia not been executed, had Phoenix not picked up in Mia's footsteps, had Morgan Fey not concocted her plan to kill Maya, etc., Godot would not have been misogynistic or patronizing - he very much was in Turnabout Beginnings - but the fact that all that stuff DID happen just made things way worse and more potent. Regarding his conversation with Franziska, I interpreted it as Godot 1) seeing someone with Phoenix (Godot's most-hated person at the time), 2) desperately wanting/needing to prosecute the case that she was leading, and 3) feeling his most enraged at the world with Maya's life being in jeopardy after killing the person who poisoned him. His hatred towards Phoenix was its strongest when Phoenix and Franziska ran into him at the Inner Temple, and he took it out first on Franziska with surface-level insults that - while very rude and cutting very deep - were not as entrenched in anguish as his digs at Phoenix over Maya and Mia's fates. Franziska was an obstacle in his way of facing off against Phoenix in what was sure to be their last confrontation and, for a case that Godot was so deeply involved in as he was, he could not fathom the prosecutor squaring up against Phoenix being anyone other than himself. So, he treated Franziska the way he treats everyone else (mostly Phoenix, but also occasionally the judge, young Edgeworth, and, for a bit, Furio Tigre) who gets in his way: very harshly. He dug into her much more harshly than he ever did anyone besides Phoenix, and part of that is due to his biases against women, but part of it is also because he feels entitled to fighting Phoenix because of what he went through, and he would not even so much as hear anything to the contrary. Ultimately Godot is misogynistic, and he has reasons for being that way (Are they good reasons? No. He 100% should have gone to therapy to work out his feelings after waking up from his coma, and even beyond that, he'd still have some issues to work out regarding his sense of superiority and entitlement to patronize and belittle others.), but it is much less black and white than some people say. A lot of people also like Godot because of his flaws, and many also sympathize with his motives, but some people go so far as to say that he did nothing wrong. I take issue with the latter category because Godot very much did commit wrongful acts and he very much was a bad person. Understanding why he was, though, does not take much effort (the game spells it out incredibly well without directly stating it), but it is up to the individual player to decide if they can accept those reasons as enough to look deeper into the character and find somebody worth accepting, or even appreciating. I don't blame anyone for disliking or hating Godot because of what he says and does, and ultimately, I think, neither does the game. It presented one argument more favorably than the other, but it still leaves whether Godot was truly redeemed, or even redeemable in the first place, up to the player. All this to say, I'm glad Penny came to appreciate Godot's character, too.
@@YoutGotThisMan honestly, I couldn't have said it any better myself. The bitterness that makes up his character stems from a deeply rooted superiority complex and amidst that, are some sexist beliefs he clings to with ignorance. But as he says to Phoenix, Ignorance can be its own crime. Thank you for this reply, I love talking about Godot's character and your analysis was incredibly well written
I used to hate Godot in my youth because of his mysoginic demeanor but i recently brought and played the game few weeks ago and i find his character... weirdly refreshing ? I still condone his demeanor but i find it interesting to see a character thinking this way when all the others, mostly the main characters, are open-minded and i want to say "modern" in their way of thinking. I especially love the moment where Godot admit that he could have just asked Phoenix for help but he didnt by pure egoism/pride. And its a moment that made me re-appreciate the character. He's an ass* that know and feel sorry of being one when he realize his mistakes. (Sorry for the bad english, French Ace Attorney fan x) )
That's a pretty great analysis, although I think he also uses misogyny and nonsense to basically wrongfoot people and make them angry and more predictable. He's at a point where he doesn't really care how scummy it is.
I don't like Misty Fey for the fact that she left her children all alone just because she fucked up a case, and then said "oh I don't deserve to see my daughter". She cared so much for Maya that she let her be all alone after Mia was murdered, a teenager who now has to take on the responsibility of being the family leader. All the while she's writing children's books chilling. Then when she's told about the Morgan's plot she suddenly springs into action to defend Maya, and doesn't even bother to tell her anything. She's just like Godot in my eyes, only doing it to find peace and acceptance with herself and not for any true love for her child.
She doesn’t get a lot of screentime so this went over my head for a while but yeah she’s a lot like Godot in that way. She also reminds me a lot of a certain magician from the next game.
@@JohnDoe-kn7ex truee, idk why but Mr. John Magic didn't irk me as much? At least not enough to have a lasting impact. Might be bc parent and child are both insane people I'm on Spirit of Justice right now though and I don't want to really be spoiled for either or, but like their mom????? She really doing a Misty Fei as well?? Like come on woman.. (I will say that this wasn't a problem for me until like 6-2 lol)
Watching all of this only certifies why I think Bridge to the Turnabout is the best case in the whole series. Not only does it feel like the entire trilogy has been building up to it, the mystery is so complex that it requires Phoenix and all of his allies to play pivotal roles in solving it. There are still some great cases that come close to being on the same level, like Rise from the Ashes and, IMO, the final episode of Spirit of Justice, but Bridge is the peak
Cannot overstate how happy I am you ended up loving Iris. A lot of people are lukewarm on her and go "eh, she still helped Dahlia though", and I think that's honestly not giving her enough credit, it is *rough* living under the shadow of a sociopathic sibling like Dahlia, it can really fuck with your sense of self-worth and independence. The fact that Phoenix just being his natural goofball self ended up being enough to crack Dahlia's hold on her loyalty is a really big deal, and then her having to just live with this "what might have been" relationship that she can't do anything to mend always gets me. I know the joke is "if you ship Phoenix/Iris, you're straight", and I agree that Phoenix/Edgeworth has a lot more depth to it. But with all that said... you can't tell me there isn't some juicy pathos in how complicated and fraught their relationship is.
There's tons of clever foreshadowing in this case. One is that we learn about the twins and Dahlia's death AFTER the swap, and when we finally get answers out of "Iris" shes says her she "Betrayed her sister". Even through shes trying to play the nice act her narcissism shows through. And even though it FEELS like nothing implicates Godot early on, Godot pushes for Phoenix explain the bridge conundrum, and basically implies he already knew exactly how the body was transported because it was HIS PLAN. Godot's motivations are just a little hard to track because hes going back and forth between trying to implicate ANYONE but Maya, but also doing everything in his power to put Phoenix under the coals, even if it end up implicating Maya. Hes a chivalrous, chauvinistic, spiteful prick and I love to hate him.
VOD HEADS RISE UP Again Penny... you're killing it. I am loving everything, and I am beyond excited to read or watch your reactions for future games in the Ace Attorney series.
6:14:07 the other INSANE thing about this reveal that i don't know if they remember was that black in the courtroom during an earlier segment and being able to see The Glow, which like, oh my GODDDD, DUDE
If it's okay to leave a suggestion, absolutely zero pressure, I think... one of the Great Ace Attorney games might be a good choice for a stream... I'd honestly be up for something similar to this where you just do the final case of the final game. 👉👈
As a fandom old (millennial), it's been such a joy to watch a new generation enjoy the Ace Attorney franchise. It's my forever fandom, and your playthrough (and your tumblr) reminds me why these characters and their stories are so close to my heart. They really stands the test of time. Whenever you get around to playing the others, if you decide to share it with us again, I look forwarding to supporting you ❤ Until then, enjoy your rest!
I am SO happy I got to see you have this experience. Your commentary was one of the most insightful I've seen, and it made me so so so happy that you enjoyed those games.
7:31:40 just wanna point out that they bring back the AA1 cornered music for this moment. absolute cinema also: if you're concerned about spoilers, please consider just recording your playthroughs offline and uploading them after! i'd love to just see your reactions and hear your voices for future games.
As much as I cherish and appreciate this VOD and the previous one and would easily watch 100 more of those, I'm actually really glad you played this on your own private time. I feel like in fandom spaces some popular opinions get too ubiquitous in a pushy kind of way even (if they don't consciously mean to be pushy) and by mostly avoiding that you delivered some of the freshest and most enjoyable takes on the series! I cheered when you said you liked JFA the most so far, because the consensus seems to be that it's the weakest one, and while that's a valid opinion I appreciate hearing different ones (I think the same! Franziska is a VERY strong point in my book
FRANMAYA LET'S GO! I was literally wondering if Penny knew about it last VOD. I've seen so much cute art of them, it's great. Especially when it's WrightWorth and FranMaya just hanging out. I love all of Penny's voice this episode. I swear Penny's laugh is infectious, whether it's a stream VOD or Dub, whenever she gets caught up laughing I can't help but at least smile. Thanks for this wild ride of AA VODs!
why was he suddenly such a douche there? ive seen lets plays before so i feel like i understand him a good amount, but penny was right, it feels so out of left field. did i miss something by only watching edited lets plays and the anime or something?
@Arcsin27 maybe it's a reach but when it happened I thought "oh he's being reminded of Mia and not handling it at all". like he's at his lowest probably since finding out Mia died and he wanted Franziska as far away from the case as possible. Not even necessarily in a 'don't let her get involved in this mess' way but in a 'nope not dealing with this' way.
@@Arcsin27 from what i understand that line in particular was a BIG mistranslation. I think in the jp text he’s more telling franny to fuck off bc of her age rather than her gender, which makes a lot more sense since she is very young
@@xlukalee idk franny didn’t really have anything to do with him or his background so if what you say was actually the case then that would mean that godot thinks of any woman he comes across as “mia” which is kinda fucked up imo. Like, he views all women like he viewed Mia? He sees all women as kittens that need to be protected? If that were true then that would make him irredeemable for me, but I believe this was a mistranslation and he was referring to franny’s age during this scene in the original jp text, which makes more sense and redeems him a bit in my eyes. (I just REALLY hate those type of male characters that think they need to protect every single girl they come across so Godot really isn’t my style)
@blooperdooper6011 good to know it was a mistranslation and unfortunately yeah he comes across a bit like that. Like in his trauma he hates Phoenix for not protecting Mia, like she needed a man around to look out for her at all time, and if he's out then Phoenix needed to step up. I like Godot as a character but yeah I figured it was "ah shit here's another strong young woman involved in this bull shit" and he inherently sees that as someone in need of protection.
These two videos dropped exactly at the time I needed something to put in the background while I did some crunch work during the weekend! Seeing your reactions and knowing what had yet to happen was so much fun, definitely the little kick I needed to get through my work (and the 6-8 hours they were was just perfect for this HA) Thank you so much!!
I know this VOD is weeks old now but I just have to say, you noticing Phoenix's almost obsessive empathy regarding kids who have gone through horrible experiences is one of my favorite things. It's one of the reasons Phoenix is easily tied with Maya and Edgeworth for my favorite character in the original trilogy. It even has roots in the first game before Pearl was ever introduced! In the first game, Phoenix's cell phone ringtone isn't ever used. Instead, it first plays in Rise from the Ashes, where it's Ema's ringtone, not Phoenix's, and it rings when Phoenix hits the redial button on Lana Skye's phone. Jake Marshall gets confrontational, and Phoenix lies to him and says it was his ringtone, and it was just a coincidence that it started ringing when he hit the redial button. Then in the next game's, it's a plot point that Phoenix's ringtone is the Steel Samurai theme. Phoenix doesn't like The Steel Samurai. He changed his ringtone just so Ema would never be found out. I know this was technically a retroactive thing because Rise from the Ashes was written after the last game of the trilogy, but I *adore* this as a tiny, near unnoticeable character detail.
Ooo boy, it sure is a bummer that people won't stop spoiling. If I recall correctly, Penny said that she didn't have to share this experience with us, and I believe her. And talking around something IS spoiling something, especially with clever Penny. Like..., it's not hard guys... Schtum.
Being spoilt in Ace Attorney is one of the worst things… I’m lucky that the only real spoiler I’ve had is from AA4. I’ve done reasonably well to dodge plot point spoilers elsewhere.
@@jrose5353 ya, that's another thing, some games if you get spoiled on something it will have a smaller impact on the overall experience. But a game that is largely a visual novel, a spoiler in that context really sucks.
I would genuinely listen to a whole stream of Penny yapping about her tier list placements if something like that existed (I’m VERY SUPER DUPER normal about the Ace Attorney series)
Watching this case again after having not played it for a LONG time, I've come back around on how good it is. I think 2-4 is still my favorite but i forgot just how good this case is and how perfect a cap for the trilogy it is!
i only get so defensive about this because an incredible portion of the younger fanbase has characterized him as a rampant misogynist, ignoring his dedication to mia and how all of his actions after waking up from the coma -- waking up ALONE with everyone he knew dead -- are taken to protect maya, who he knew was the most important person to mia. he was incredibly traumatized, newly disabled, and had no way to know what actually happened to her; to us, he's clearly acting irrationally, but he takes part in the plan because he wants to do what will protect maya. the fact that fans blame him more for what happened instead of dahlia who was ACTUALLY behind everything because they refuse to acknowledge their misinterpretation of his character... my villain origin story fr
ace attorney is my fav game series of all time so seeing one of my favorite content creators since 2018 thoroughly enjoy its drama, absurdity, crazy plot twists, and most importantly its cast of colorful characters.. i am actually so giddy rn u have no idea. i havent even finished the video yet but i cant wait for when you continue this series of games!! though ofc this trilogy will always be iconic. ❤
LOOVVEEEDDD watching your reactions! if you stream ANY of the aa games in the future, it should be AA4. its literally ace attorney peak. THANK YOUUU for making a vod for this case, as someone who often can't catch streams lol
I’m CRAZY for this case. Trials and tribulations was my first ave attorney game and I latched onto Mia so hard as a protagonist. It’s so special. I’m glad you loved it!!
It's so great that you're playing this, now you can play the games in order! After this is Ace Attorney Investigations, then, my boy, Apollo Justice Trilogy, and finally, the great, Great Ace Attorney! You're gonna have so much fun, I'm excited myself
Absolutely peam stream, I was so asleep towards the end of these streams but ace attorney playthrus are always fun. One of these days penny’s got to stream the aai collection!!!
I WAS IN THERE uwahhh this was so fun watching alongside you (and giggling like a maniac knowing the case already) here's to more ace attorney stuff (even the live posting on tumblr) this series is amazing
part 1 was really good i'm glad to be back for the finale! i love your edgeworth voice though, you really capture his sass well! also yeah your franziska voice feels enormously french, being french speaking myself she sounds like totally french, with the -th sound like in "the" or "this" being spoken like a V instead of a Z or D for the full french accent. That said, i love her voice! edit: corrections and clarification
"The little girl killed someone on accident & someone who loves them tries to cover it up" is VERY Shu Takumi can't blame your mind for going to that 1st Penny
Clearly the next game in the franchise to play is the investigations games since it’s chronologically next or you can do AA4 since it’s the next game release order wise.
It was so nice of Joy to bring Penny a [Burger]. I wonder if Penny will play any others in the Ace Attorney series. I know the Apollo Justice series and the Miles Edgeworth recently got PC ports. And the Ace Attorney/Professor Layton crossover game seems up Penny's alley.
i think shes stated that shes planning on playing them all, but shes still on hiatus and no one knows whether she wants to play the rest of the series off stream
HI SNAP so I have been a youtube watcher for a while.... a quiet one... but you seem to play many of the same games I play and the best way I can phrase it is that: you fill this void of having a friend to talk about it with! Like I just played Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and had no one to talk about it with and the whole time I played it I kept thinking "How would Sanps react to this?!" You make me happy i guess is all I'm saying!
This was such a goddamn delight to watch, thank you for sharing your experience of this last case with us! Hope we get to see you do Apollo Justice, or Great Ace Attorney Chronicles in the future. Both are such a great time!
I'd love to see you stream Apollo Justice 1 because that's imo the best game by far, and I'd be totally satisfied if that was the last game they ever made
Devestating that there’s not gonna be more to watch of u playing ace attorney (i need to read all your live-blogging now 😭) ive been savoring every last morsel of this your genuine love and appreciation for AA is INFECTIOUS. Incredible. Love it. Thank u.
PLEASE STREAM Apollo Justice! It’s not the best AA game, but it is by far the funniest - character dynamics are unreal! There are so many fantastic moments in that game and I’d kill to see your reaction! I’m just gonna leave it at that before I start fanboying over AA4. A lot of people were put off by the concept of a new protagonist, I guarrentee that none of them had that opinion longer than half an hour of gameplay
Loved that you streamed this final case! I've been following your live Tumblr posting almost daily, it was so cool to see your reactions! If you ever feel like streaming another final case, please don't hesitate!
This final part of the game makes me hate Morgan Fey even more. She basically instructed her own daughter (Pearl) to channeled her psychopathic, half-blood sister (Dahlia) to murder her own cousin (Maya) Like, do you know how fucked up you had to be to let your own 8 years old child being controlled by a murderous cursed spirit to kill someone she love? Like, I couldn't even imagine how devastated Pearl would be if Morgan's plan succeeded.
