Competing for the first time at home this season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team posted a first-place mark of 193.550 on Friday night. The Purple Knights finished with the top score in a quad meet that featured the University of Alaska Anchorage, Ursinus College and Rhode Island College.
We spoke with Freshman Nova Straruk after she took first place in the vault with a score of 9.775 and second in the floor routine with a 9.800!
