It is pretty easy to do it right but it is a challenge to do it GREAT because it is also easy to ruin the classic story. Look at the Camila Cabello version, it was meh... but the Disney live action version was nice and very aesthetically pleasing so I hope they do great...@@ducklingscap897

I saw another video where the man said this new showrunner will probably change Sophie to "Sopheus" and it will be a man. The way Jess Brownell ruined my beloved Queen Penelope's season has made me lose faith in this series. If she does this to Benedict, I'm out and will never watch again.

@JumpRopeQueen111 In many ways. I have loved Penelope's character since the first episode of season one, so I looked forward to her and Colin's love story. Instead, they were sidelined during their own season. There was far too much focus on other people **cough** _The Mondrich Family_ **cough** instead of the main couple like the first 2 seasons did. Also, they brought in Lord Debling, an EXCELLENT character, but then sidelined him, too, instead of letting him be a reason Colin has to fight for Penelope's love. Colin sucked for most of the season. Not because of the actor (Luke Newton is great!), but because of the writing and directing. There were _some_ good moments, but not enough. Showing Colin having three ways with prostitutes didn't show emptiness, it just made him seem like a vapid f'boy who was unworthy of Penelope. Also, Colin NEVER had to do anything, not even once, to earn Penelope's love or forgiveness. He ruins her proposal from Lord Debling, chases after her, and then freaks her in the carriage, ending with, "Are you going to marry me or not?" Eloise and Penelope had a more compelling story than Penelope and Colin. And don't get me started on them 💩ing on Francesca and John's LOVE from the book!!!! There's more, but those are a few of the reasons it was ruined for me. 📣 *I love Penelope and wanted more for her character!!!!*

They need better writing, editing, costumes and makeup than in seasons 2 and 3.

@@mishynaofficialholy shit the costumes were so unserious this last season it completely took me off the story, especially Cressida’s. Really hope they at least TRY to make the costumes more believable on Benedict’s season, I don’t want to be distracted from the plot with this Halloween like costuming.

It's all about the hair. Anthony left those unsightly sideburns in season 1 and instantly became hot in season 2 lol. Colin had a hair glow up too

He'll actually get a glow down cause in his book he is really horrible. Completely destroyed his character. He should've been season 3. It would've made colin and penelope storyline make more sense. The books are alright for 2024 gen z.

@@lavish_1717um he’s the best Bridgerton lol I know in all the reasons I was always so happy whenever he was on screen. He’s good looking, charismatic, reasonable, funny, and adorable. The only issue Benedict has is that he lost confidence in his talent when he found out that Anthony arranged for him to get into the art school. He really has no character flaws.

That long?? I really hate when shows do that. In my opinion ur hurts the show. Why? Well in all that time we will find new shows to watch & little by little forget about Bridgerton. Not forget entirely but that excitement kind of gets pushed to the back of our mind. I don’t know that’s just my opinion. I think it should be at least once a year, however my opinion doesn’t matter in this & perhaps there are real good reasons they do this?

@@giakate2 I agree. We had to wait 2 years (2 yrs 2 months, to be exact) for S3 as well. When the S3 premiere dates were announced, I put myself in "Bridgerton Boot Camp" and rewatched S1, S2, & Queen Charlotte in the weeks leading up to S3, Ep 1. Doing this reminded me of why I loved Bridgerton and readied me to once again get lost in all the characters and shenanigans of Bridgerworld. Maybe you can re-ignite that excitement in the same way once the S4 premiere is announced. See you in 2 years! :)😃

His whole journey is about self discovery from what I've understood so far. So that's probably why he has been all over the place, I hope his season develops on that idea. Also, his love intrest in the books is described as knowing who she is and what she wants, so that's going to be an interesting dynamic.

Agree... Many people think he has the perspnality of Colin's book that it is true, but I think noone gives that to him. Luke T acts and everything else flowed. It was the actor who made the character that way. Luke T the actor that you are ❤❤❤❤

I’m not sure why people feel this way about S3. They literally fixed all the issues from the books. Made Colin a sweetie who isn’t a walking red flag. Actually gave Penelope agency in her own story and actually giving her the climactic reveal moment instead of giving it to Collin (honest what the heck was Quinn thinking when she wrote that scene 😭). Didn’t make Penelope lose weight to be “prettier” 🙃 Like I’m getting the sense most of you who didn’t like S3 never read the books and have no idea how much of an improvement the show adaptation was.
