I loved the book, and I loved the season cause. Honestly, I didn't have specific expectations because I tried to be open to how the show wanted to do things

I loved this season it’s my favorite so far but my only problem is that we didn’t get enough of polin and specifically Colin it felt like Penelope’s season and not them as a couple and it didn’t help that we got so many side stories. Colin is a very interesting character and Luke is a very good actor and I felt like they didn’t really give him anything to work with like ep 7 was the most he got to do and I was rewatching thinking GIVE ME MORE Of THIS! With his tears and yelling like.... Colin is so complex but they put him on the back burner for side stories. Which makes me feel so bad because he could’ve done so much more. The jealousy of pen being an accomplished writer and not him arc and him an his journals could’ve been so interesting if they fleshed it out and so much more ugh. This is my general thoughts!

If we saw Kate wedding if you go back to S2 E5 at the dress shop you would see Kate holding a red fabric with gold trim...that was the traditional colors for indian brides saree

As I’ve stated before and I think @nupefromdaville commented…I come from a very religious conservative family. My maternal grandparents marriage was arranged. She was not told a thing. When my mom hit puberty, she gave her a book. She never actually explained s*x before my mom got married. And it was traumatizing for my mom. Therefore my mom over explained everything to me much to my chagrin. I talked to my daughter as she was growing up. The night before her wedding night she was crying because she was so afraid. Needless to say everything was fine and I’m about to be a first time grandma.

I’m not sure if they really mean struggle. The Mondriches storyline is just positive. There is very little that is negative in their lives. Lady Danbury was forced to marry someone much older than her and was required to have a sexual relationship she never enjoyed. Simon was essentially rejected by his father. He wasn’t allowed interaction with anyone other than his governess for years. The Sharmas needed to depend fully on the kindness of others to escape poverty. The Queen has been married to a man who essentially no longer really there. As said by Lady Danbury and Violet she is mourning without there being a true death.

Thing about Queen Charlotte's children. None of her children had children that survived, except one. They had a girl named Alexandrina Victoria. Who became Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria wore white as her wedding gown. The Victorian era was very influential and white wedding gowns have been the norm since.

Pasted from another video. I thought your fans may want to read: Thanks! I'm a huge S3 E2-7 Francesca & John fan. Since I'm not a Pen fan, F & J made my day as the sweetest hetero romance. I feel they sabotage F & J romance for a variety of reasons. The character John did get some racist comments and I guess the show couldn't take the heat. Sabotage included Francesca being lukewarm about John at their wedding. (remember how she sparked when John entered a room or does some talking). F & J only gets one kiss and no honeymoon or intimacy. The writers choose for John to have no immediate family in Mayfair yet Violet was familiar with the family. Also, in my opinion they dressed Francesca very homely or conservative. John hanging out with the main guys at the gentlemen's club meant he was staying around, then they switched for him to go to his "primary" home in Scotland. huh? This Michaela story seemed last minute and rushed.
