I left Massachusetts in 2003. I haven't been back since. I grew up in Somerset. My late mother believe it or not could see spirits. She told me one morning as she was preparing to go to work saw a puckwuggy ( she called it a midget) walking thru the back yard as she was looking out her back door. The way she described this being leads me to believe it was a Puckwuggy. My Mom was very sick as a child and had the last rites 3 times. I believe this opened a door to the spirit world. I do not have the gift/curse. When I told her I was going to the Ledge to swim with my friends as a teenager, she told me I could not go the there. She never told me why but kept me home that day. Years later when I was in my 40s she said the place was cursed. My son's friend, Russell, was taken there under false pretenses, was taken out there where he was beaten, his skull was smashed with a rock and his boots were taken. He now has a steel plate in head and his legs were so frost bitten that he had to have his legs amputated from the knees down. In the early 90s, I was an Asst. ACO. I had to go on calls relating to feral dogs. Most of them were dumped because they lost fights. These dogs were so happy to see people that they happily got into the truck. Your documentary reminded me of the stories my mother told me. Please keep up your investigations. These stories need to be told. Thank you!!

I grew up in the heart of the triangle. My childhood home is like 2 miles from the power lines they were walking though the swamp. It is very eerie out there. I know tons of people that have seen thing or had encounters, including myself.

Are those power lines part of Freetown and Assonet? I used to be big into dirt biking and can't believe I never rode those power lines. I'm sure lots of people rode those power lines when you were growing up. I used to go riding at a place in Taunton called Bark Street it's a big forest area trails and open sand pits way before I knew about Bridgewater triangle... And man I used to get some spooky vibes out there by myself anytime it would start to hit late evening. The energy out there is just different than anywhere else compared to Rhode Island, etc

Thank you, yet again, to Aleksandar, Eli, Seth, and everybody at Small Town Monsters for your courageous determination to actually BE in the many strange "window areas" around the world. Thank you for spending real time and energy exploring the spaces that have given birth to so many of the curious legends that form a de facto modern day mythology to millions of people. Thank you for your time, your attention to details, your balanced and open-minded outlooks, and for adding your beautiful cinematography to the lives of people who, like myself, cannot often find the means to travel to such places, but who wish that we too could be there. Your work continues to be inspiring and thought provoking, and it provides openings to many vistas of perspective that help curious people to get at least a little closer to a sense of truth. The cryptid phenomena, the UFO phenomena, the hauntings, the lycanthropes, the magic, etc. etc. etc. are obviously not entirely the same things, but the reason they continually arise amid the same areas of inquiry, I think, is that these and all comparable phenomena share the quality of asking: "What if?" If these things exist, (and clearly, on multiple levels they DO exist,) then what does that imply, what does that tell us about the very nature of reality? What is the nature of consciousness, of matter, of life, of the afterlife? What inscrutable intersections of dimensional and temporal planes are impacting the world in which we live? To what extend is the world we take for granted a mere illusion, or an incomplete picture at best? My point is that, while to many viewers and listeners, what you are doing may only seem to be fascinating entertainment, your work helps people to come to grips with the questions that may be of the very most importance. The video to which I am adding this comment ended on one of the most vitally significant notes that any observation can address, and that is the DREADFUL impact that modern humans are having upon the biosphere that gives us life, upon all of our fellow creatures, and upon one another. Every time I see the wreckage that we modern day humans are making of the world around us, such as the litter and pollution that you filmed in the Bridgewater Triangle, and every time I think of the wreckage that we make of one another, through violent crime, poverty, etc. I can't help but to think the same thought that you voiced so aptly at the close of this project: That WE are the worst, the most dangerous and deleterious monsters in our lives. We don't have to live like this, to destroy and despoil like this, or to treat one another like this. Something has gone terribly wrong. The best thing that fringe, or Fortean studies may do, in the fullness of time, is to help to alert people to the monstrosity of our current way of life before it is irrevocably too late. Even if we never unravel the secrets of "The Phenomenon", if we just learn to become a better society, we will be miles ahead of where we are today. So thanks for that! Apologies for this longwinded comment. I've become carried away with enthusiasm, and I just want to encourage you in any way possible! Sincerely, --N

I really appreciate the quality of your documentaries, and the music is always so fitting and beautiful. They conjure the deep emotion of mystery and lore. You really have a way of capturing the mood of each region as well. I’m originally from the Northeast and felt so much nostalgia in this one. Though I live in the PNW and I’m completely enraptured by our Big Foot lore, especially after a few personal experiences. I hope you make your way back to the PNW soon!

Possibly another commenter has observed this already, but IMHO, so-called windows such as the Bridgewater 🔺or Chestnut Ridge would seem ripe for a full season of episodes in which investigators (from zoology, psychology, and applied physics, for example) who reside in the area interview recent witnesses, attempt to collect empirical evidence, and stake out the locations most prolific for reports of various phenomena. Follow the “Skinwalker Ranch” model. Not saying that any mysteries would thereby be solved, or that the producers would value substance over sensationalism, but I’d probably watch.

I grew up in Bridgewater during the late 60's & 70's. The stone chamber you looked at can be found all thru the area. It's speculated that they could have been built by the earliest time of the settlers. But there's also some who believe the local Indians built them.

I'm from the Freetown area so I know about the triangle but I personally believe that the Sasquatch or family of them have migrated south of hockamock swamp towards Lakeville, East Taunton area around Massasoit State Park area and South into Freetown Assonnet area. That's what I've been able to gather over the past few years. Maybe it's not the same Sasquatch or family of them that's been seen in hockamock swamp, but I believe it is.

My sister and I had that happen on the cape no less. Got lost in an area we knew super well. Hiked 8 miles according to my phone, in pouring rain (not forecasted btw), in 1hr 45 min. We felt like it was hours & hours. Weirdest thing was all the development we knew was around but looking across the marsh, nothing. Whole time, not one house. I remember saying to her, “Dude this is what it looked like when the pilgrims got here.” I’ll never forget it.

I was obsessed, tracked, communicated and fed them etc in the winter months of 2015. I have meny encounters and you can even smell them when they are close and hear them. I have to say, I adore them :) It's nice to hear about others experiences especiallybecauseat the time I thought I was losing my mind. I've seen other things there and had to stop going because it became pretty frightening. I'm still trying to process it all. Never seen Bigfoot, but have run into some really creepy fuggn people real far out in the woods that have off real bad vibes, and felt like I’ve had a couple close calls... one time we were way out in the woods really early in the morning during winter, and this creep came out of nowhere totally under dressed for the weather, and was wearing sneakers with no socks... looked like he hadn’t bathed in a month.. said he owned all the land and didn’t like people... tried to follow us until I told him that wasn’t a good idea... he made it back to where we were parked before we did somehow and walked off as we came into view... fuggn creepy haha

Where you find strange lights, you'll find cryptid creatures, like Sasquatch. Where you find Sasquatch you'll have paranormal activity. The phenomena remains unriddled

17:11 to add to the list: the Boston Marathon bomber was attending Umass Dartmouth in Bristol County when he committed those crimes. tho it may be a stretch considering the attack itself was of course done in boston, something about how the guy had been staying in Bristol County as a student for a while and dorming on campus when he decided to carry out those attacks is eerie and sort of a (dis)honorable mention for me edit again, recent update to the list!: "the discord leaks" incident also happened in Dighton MA, not five minutes from the dighton rock no doubt. it's not a murder per say but still a very dire very bizarre international and federal crime. where a massachusetts national guardsman leaked extremely sensitive federal combat plans for the war in russia and ukraine. all happened from a little home in bristol county...

I find it strange that the guy in the wheelchair with his legs supposedly blown off didn’t bleed to death within the 10 minutes they paraded him up and down the road in front of all the witnesses and cameras…🙄🤷‍♂️

@@pattersonfilm9117 i don't know the finer details of the bombing and the individual victims. tho i've heard miracle cases like that where a person survives injuries that normally we can expect to be fatal because of special circumstances. like for example i find myself wondering if the explosion was close enough to him the heat from the blast could have partially cauterized the wound. if that's even possible. or i wonder if a wheelchair bound person with paralyzed legs might have reduced blood flow to their legs at any given time, so the victim survived because there is a way smaller than usual amount of blood in the major veins and arteries of a paralyzed limb. (cause of the way the muscle atrophies from disuse, paralyzed legs become very thin and the muscle cells aren't firing and contracting all the time like other limbs. after years of being paralyzed i image the body adapts and compensates same as it does when a person is blind or deaf. the veins and capillaries in and leading to the legs would over time tighten to a smaller than normal size, the blood flow would reduce to a minimum since there's no muscle contractions, just whatever is needed to keep the limb alive. meanwhile the veins and capillaries in mobile limbs might dilate to prioritize blood flow. i don't know if that happens in paralyzed limbs, but i do know that the body changes and compensates around other injuries in a similar way. so following that theory) maybe the blood loss was survivable because his legs had a lot less blood in them and near the wound site than the average person. maybe losing your legs is fatal if you can walk because more than half your blood supply is in your legs at all times. BUT becomes less dire in the case of a paralyzed person who probably only has, say, a mere quarter of their total blood in their legs at any given time. im not saying that as an absolute fact, but its definitely at least plausible. it's remarkable that a guy in a wheelchair survived having his legs blown off but definitely not weird to the point of being doubtful. that's at least my opinion given what i know from a common undergrad bachelors education in biology and anatomy. i'm no doctor, and an educated guess is still a guess lol

I like this series of documentaries. No BS! I can't stand the stuff where they have 20 cameramen and crew screaming through the forest at night. Bleh! Give me a film with a small crew that seems more grounded and serious about this subject!
