Like the Matrix: Revolutions ending. Dumbledore dying, snape sacrificing and then Harry sort of dying then rising from the dead are all modern plays on Messiah Themes from religions around the world. Most notably in Christianity and Buddhism. The Dalai Llama is a physical manifestation of a perpetual cycle of creation, death & rebirth. Also found in Hinduism. These are common universal themes that are told over and over again.
I gotta hand it to Brie, imagine being the new kid in a star studded multimillion dollar production and NO ONE tells you anything about your character. Like how she managed to do it is still beyond me.
Yea but seeing her in endgame without seeing Capt marvel made me not want to see her movie even more cuz she seemed too cocky lol probably wont watch the movie until it comes to tv
Honestly people are kinda overreacting about her being so outspoken for lgbtq rights and so on and such. Or how she's being a bit full of herself for doing her own stunts and all. Imagine this: You're just being honest about what you personally believe in and how you feel and people straight up fucking boycott the movie you star in, basically punishing about a 100 other people who also worked on the movie, just because they don't like the way you feel. Edit: Typo
She's very far from being the best when it comes to words and personality but I think that's still not that big of a reason for many people to be extreme towards her.
I really don't understand how people don't like her and why she gets so much hate? She seems to be very sweet, yes she's slightly introverted and that can make her seem awkward, but that doesn't make her the awful person people are making her out to be. And Captain Marvel is amazing as is Brie's performance!
Tara Smith It’s because of that one Tweet (not sure if it’s from Twitter really) she posted before. She said something along the lines of “I don’t need the opinion of white men critics for this movie (Wrinkle in Time).” It was a pretty bad move, but the backlash she’s receiving isn’t justifiable.
@Nine Waves I know, it just seems to be everywhere but everyone seems to just say the same thing and not have their own opinion. From what I've seen (and I obviously don't know her personally) she seems to have an idea of what is going on in the world and uses her platform to support different people / groups. I guess some people just aren't used to a strong woman standing up for herself and what she believes. Even so, this hate she gets must be exhausting, I hope her team protects her from it.
@Nine Waves she's not wrong, she never insulted anyone by that statement. My interpretation and view is that films are made for different audiences now which they weren't always. Yes anyone can go and see a movie and enjoy it and have their opinion, but Black Panther was made for a different Audience to for example Pretty Woman? The Hollywood landscape has been changing for years now to involve a far greater diversity of people and I hope it continues.
I watched Avengers on the 1st day without any spoilers and now I can freely browse the internet again. This is amazing. btw her role in the movie is fine, don't worry
EonHSD well it takes 30 minutes to kill him. Just put "SPOILERs" before you comment because I need to know man please. If she deals the killing blow alone I'm not going to go see it.
spoiler: it was a very heartbreaking moment when aquaman drowned at the end. edit: 1.2k LIKES ? don't come near me, i'm famous now edit (pt2): 3.1k LIKES ? keep them coming, i'm loving my stardom life
Everyone in the comments saying she's cocky in the endgame scene. I see someone who's been through So many different planets, been through many Different battles. A strong woman, going stronger by the years from All the fights she's been, Protecting many other planets. And being back to her home planet, after so many years, coming home to a world lost to a war, not being able to help fury on time. I see a woman with so much ANGER and Determination to set things right.
She doesnt come off as a strong woman , please understand that.. her character really sucks in the movie and is pointless to have her, she was only THE way to bring back Tony and the way to destroy that space shit and that's it... she sucks as an actress.. watch the unicorn store how bad she is in that movie that she directed by the way and is horrible to watch
Am I the only one who liked her in this interview, the truth is that she probably put too much stress unto looking like a cool celeb, she's better this sarcastic💜💜
I went to a midnight screening the second it came out here and I know you’re lying. It was super weird but I liked how it was done so I kinda just went with it.
@@kilabot749 am I the only one who noticed that with Short Hair Carol Denvers looks so much like Tris from Insurgent...I mean they both r blonde and had boy-cut hair & looked very similar.
@@Kokonix902 in the bloopers where hella was gonna attack the asgardians in their hideout an extra sneezed, everyone laughed Hela was like "bless you" with a bloodthirsty murdering expression.
Iron Man dies using his infinity gauntlet killing Thanos and his army in final battle. Captain America grows to be an old fella. Thors joins the GOTG. Valkyrie is appointed ruler of the remaining Asgardians by Thor. Nebula battles her past self. Hulk becomes Professor Hulk and brings back all the dead heros using infinity gauntlet. Dr. Strange and Wong bring all the revived heros to the final battle
I wouldn't call those minutes wasted, especially with how cool the credits and signatures amongst the Avengers theme was and if you were listening closely you could hear the clunks of Iron Man's armour being forged at the very end
I can totally understand her. I myself am too an introvert and sometimes it feels like i don't fit in but than we are the ones who learn to standup for themselves.
More to the point, everyone says questionable things. It's a part of the human condition. Criticism is one thing, but as far as the hate goes, let he who is without sin cast the first stone
laciee fake laugh? Really? Ever watch his early SNL days? This is what genuine happy people look like. But it’s fun to hate these days so please jump on the bandwagon of hate 😂
George Washington Stfu. Jimmy literally fake laughs over everything and carries lots of jokes on too long. Not saying I don’t like him but he still does it
longshlong32 She didn’t attack white men, she was talking about the critics. Admittedly though, it was a bad move to include the “white men” adjective because its meaning can then easily be twisted so that people can have a reason to hate her.
I love Brie Larson. It’s almost like she’s a human being with a different personality compared to the other cast members 😱 never will know why she gets so much hate. None of you people know her personally lol
Callmehbob Callmehbob okay simmer down there. There are actually a lot of people who senses an aggressive vibe from her sarcasm. So she isn’t liked by a lot of people. You’ve got absolutely no reason to be mean
@shivam vishwakarma #1 Tony was dying, running out of food and oxygen and based on the Captain Marvel mid credit scene, she already met the remaining Avengers who probably asked her to find Tony. #2 The rat saving Scott was part of the 14 million possibilities Strange saw. It was meant to happen. #3 I would think Nebula had a say who goes to Vormir or Morag, she knew Thanos came back with the Soul Stone without Gamora. The only plothole in my opinion was Thanos was able to call out his whole army with just 1 bottle of Pym Particles
@@hbrt335 The russo brothers addressed this in the commentary, Maul actually took the pym particle sample from Nebula and was able to synthesis it exactly.
That was really her only important part was her saving Stark and Nebula. After that she largely became Super Rey. The noticed glare was that Black Widow in NO FORM OR TIME LINE came back to replace the self that sacrificed herself after winning that morbid fight with Hawkeye for the Soul Stone.
She's basically the transfer student who still doesn't know how to fit in and is rather shy and hard to talk to. Pairing her with Marvel vets (Hemsworth and Cheadle) was not a good decision. I think she's better off with females (e.g. look at her guestings with Ellen, she's so much more comfortable there) and with new guys.
I love how Brie was way more laid back and casual on this on interview. Sam L Jackson explained how he got his lightsaber on Graham Norton so if anyone wants to, yk despite being a few weeks late and Brie probs already knows, they could link that for her
She was MUCH better in Endgame than in her own solo film. It really confirmed my issue with Captain Marvel - the script and directing. The Russos, Markus and McFeely handled her (and Hawkeye) better. Also the hate on her in the comment section... jesus christ y'all should get a life. I'm not really a fan but the amount of hate this woman gets since last year is just ridiculous.
Lmfao there’s not one reply here to support your last statement, cute attention seeking comment though. Some folks don’t like her, and that’s okay too.
It must be so impossible to act when you don’t know anything about the circumstances. I mean, you hire an actor based on their performance and then remove everything they might use in their acting.
saw Endgame two days ago and someone literally DMed me on Twitter with the spoilers LOL.......they tried it. they really did. don't be that person, y'all.
I don’t get all the hate. Seen her previous work, was impressed. Also saw Captain Marvel when it came out, enjoyed it thoroughly. Gonna try & see End Game next week 🔥 #ShesPrettyToo 💯🤷🏽♂️
Who just watched Endgame? #DONTSPOILTHEENDGAME Edit again: I watched it when it first came out in Aus so I'm free but other people haven't seen it guys, literally been just 2 days. Edit: Okay, I think, I think, maybe, hopefully, you guys misread the hashtag, but um let me re-clarify again. *DON'T* *SPOIL* *THE* *END* *GAME* SOME PEOPLE HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YA'LL!
@@osskeet SPOILER ALERT! yea, same. I feel like they just had too many characters at this point, bc they didn't show as much as I expected. The movie would have been 5 hours of they did so Haha. But a little bit more Korg and the boy from Iron Man 2, aswell as a rematch between non-gauntlet-thanos and hulk would have been nice. It's nice that the got rid of a few characters.
Thank Disney for that with their purchase of star wars franchise and releasing them in december and disney buying up fox. James Cameron made a deal with disney I will help you with making pandora at Disney world and then having open december slots in 2020 and fowards
@@dicksonyurmouf5477 if you want the same history of the comic bools just read them again, they did a way better job with the character development and writing than in 99% of comic books
Something tells me he probably didn't have a choice in this matter... and if only she knew that Marvel only gave her 15 minutes of screen time in the most anticipated movie ever.
I think she wasn’t in the room with anyone when she did the post-credits scene for Captain Marvel, when she came in and said, “Where’s Fury?” She was with the other actors filming Endgame.
in some scenes no. in a lot of these scenes that involves close ups of characters, they arent actually looking at the other characters. they film them separately
