One hiccup in the narrative towards the end. Leopold III did not abdicate in favor of his youngest son Albert II, but in favor of his eldest son Beaudouin I (who remained childless), who was then succeeded by said Albert II.
On September 20, 1944, Charles became Regent of Belgium because his brother King Leopold III was deported to Nazi-Germany and then the king issue. Baudouin I was King of the Belgians from 17 July 1951 until his death in 1993. He was the last Belgian king to be sovereign of the Congo to.
Great video, really, superbly done. Great visuals as well. Just a few pointers and inaccuracies that might be of some help. Somebody mentioned already that Leopold III was succeeded by his son Boudewijn/Baudouin I who reigned until 1993 and then was succeeded by his brother who became Albert II. Secondly, Elio Di Rupo was not, by a mile, the first francophone prime minister of Belgium. There were many others before him including many in the 19th century and more recently (well, after WW II :)) Harmel, Duvieusart, Leburton and others. And to conclude, there is, from time to time, talk about splitting up the country. Sometimes in seperate states, sometimes Wallonia as part of France and the East Cantons as part of Germany (I don't even think they want that to be honest) and the northern part, Flanders as part of the Netherlands. That last one is important and an omission. Because the northe is the most populous, dominant region. Just pointing that out. But really, tour de force, this video, I enjoyed it. And I do know, it is not always easy to grasp all there is to grasp about a country's history so that's why I send you this message. Of course, with all the respect for the work. Keep it up!
i hope you will do a political geography video soon. those are by far my favorite. Keep up the great work!

Thanks RK. I haven't done more because they have very few views and I was doing them mostly for my classes. I probably will do one for the US at some point, but I wasn't planning one for other countries. Which country were you thinking? Belgium?
@ I would love a US one. As for which one i am thinking off, i very much prefer more obscure countries, many of which are in south America, right up your alley, If views are a problem you should try an India video, indians are attracted to Indian videos usually ( make sure not to make any mistakes tho because they are very loud when their map for example is not shown correctly.) I will however watch with alot of pleasure whichever country you make a political geography vid on. Thank you.

@@RK-cj4oc sounds good. Right now, I'm working on one on Connecticut. Then I'll see if i can get a political geography of the US.
If you are a Native, it's natural for you to speak the language perfectly. If you are not a Native it's normal if you can't pronounce it correctly. Europe have so many difrente languages, what do expect? Nobody is hable to speak perfectly all of them, not even you. 😅
