I can’t think of another moment in the show’s history when Charlie, Alan & Jake are all laughing about the same thing with each other, which is one of the many reasons why this scene is so great.
The thing about it is that he really did hurt her. You can see from the way she portrayed the scene. She is human and not knowing did hurt her especially since I think she sized Chelsea up as the type of girl that would be good for Charlie.
I think it's more like Jon Cryer didn't actually want to eat the bagel so he just spent the whole scene buttering it. Many time shows that have the characters eating you see the actors are just pushing food around their plates and not eating it.
"Welcome back to the states!" - "Thank you...where have I been?" Great reaction! Watch Charlie's facial expressions in the background! I suppose that for Charlie the "place in Italy" would not even be far enough to get space between him and his gracious mother
For real, that says it all. She would have learned two things instantly: Evelyn has no heart, but she is manipulative enough to make strangers think otherwise
Charlie you just broke your mother's heart, (burst to laughing) , poor ignorant chelsea I wish though Berta,Rose and Judith are in the scene , like they all buddies all laughing.
I loved Chelsea but she was very naive in this episode. They were obviously laughing because Evelyn has no heart! If Evelyn had a heart, I think Alan and Charlie would be way better off. But she was cold as ice and she was a narcissist.
I was watching with my 2 friends after smoking one time and when the theme song came on my one friend said this is what will whistles in the shower...we almost pissed ourselves from laughter
The fact that Chelsea thought that Evelyn had a heart hahaha Side note my grandmother was actually very similar to Evelyn. Not AS evil but pretty close
Good Morning Alan, Good Morning Jake, Satan...Lmao, priceless! Btw, does anyone know the episode where Charlie and Alan go buy their mother a birthday gift?
Exactamundo, the fact being a shitty mother isn't a crime in this world shows how f-upped this world truly us. Being a mother is a privilege , not a right, that goes for all the deadbeat dad's also.
“The owner lost everything in the stock market and killed himself.” “Oh that’s terrible.” “Oh no he didn’t do it in the house, thank GOD!!!!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I never saw this last part until now. I loved how he compares angry sex and disappointed sex, as we may as well be married, so funny! It reminds me of the episode of Everybody loves Raymond where his wife was giving him angry sex.
'even with an ocean view suicide homes are a bitch to unload, keep that in mind if you ever want to teach your brother a lesson.' LMAO 'Charlie you just broke you're mothers' heart.' when they all exploded in laughter so did I LOL
