Brienz is probably one of the most beautiful villages on Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland. But there is also the Brienzer Rothorn, which overlooks Brienz. From June on you can usually spend the night up there in the mountain house and with a little luck you can also watch the ibexes. This is their hunting ground. Be careful when dealing with the wild animals - it is their home.
