when i first heard this song i started bawling. i was so relieved someone felt the same way i did and i wasn't being over emotional and crazy. that's why i love conor, he's like therapy. "well then maybe i could take his advice and i wouldn't act like such a dick head all the time" he is a brilliant man and there will be no one else like him ever.
"But a kid carries his Walkman on that long bus ride to Omaha, I know a girl who cries when she practices violin. 'Cause each note sounds so pure it just cuts into her and then the melody comes pouring out her eyes." ---true poetry. amazing.
i dont like it how people compare other artist with their work, like some people say bob better than conor, and conor better than bob, seriously they are both great, and that goes with any other artist out there no one is better than the other person they are making music how they want to do and people have their own style, my opinion lol good video great emotion love it
ditto...also Dylans went through some weird phases. Conor's really developed as an artist..While I think Bob's lost some of his inspiration as he got older.
Agree with you. And hey! How many of Bob Dylan`s 600 some songs from 1962 to 2006 have you heard -lyrics in hand- You do seem sinsible to art. So if you haven`t heard BD songs beyond "greatest hits", you ought to get down to digging into his catalogue. Might may you cry. But it WILL change yur life, Cheers!
Wow! Your comment did stop me cold at first...and then made me cry. Check these lyrics if you can -by Bob- Chimes of Freedom; It's alright Ma (I'm only bleeding); Every Grain of Sand; A Hard Rain's a Gonna Fall; My Back PAges; Ring Them Bells; Ain`t Talking; Changing of The Guards. AND believe me foto, if you do look them lyrics up in bobdylanDOTcom you shall never every say what you said in this blog. Cheers!!
I really like this song but this version seems like a cover and dude isn't very enthusiastic about it either. Unless the idea was to sound depressed and apathetic.
