Thank you so much for making this video. I've searched for a lot of solutions online, but yours was the only one that solved the problem. The issue with my new laptop (lenovo) was the Intel Iris Xe Graphics driver wasn't even installed. This caused the brightness levels to be switched off completely. The buttons don't work and the option to adjust brightness wasn't displayed anywhere.

"OMG....I could kiss you!" . Seriously I have been searching for 3 days watching countless RU-vid clips on how to fix my problem. From uninstalling drivers to changing Bios settings, and nothing has worked. I have a new Lenovo S340 IdeaPad and both the Fn11 and Fn12 keys that control brightness weren't working. On top of that I had no default Windows slide control either. My 'retinas' were being fried... Your method "worked like a charm..". Both Function keys are now active and I also have the default Windows slider back again... Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏 🙏 🙏
