When I took the old Thameslink to Brighton back in 2008 it was almost full both there and back. Although it was during the weekend and during summer....

At Hitchin it was Express to Cambridge

Thameslink has changed a lot. Especially when the Class 700s first came into service in 2016. And have expanded to other destinations in Southeast England including Horsham and possibly expand to Littlehampton, Eastbourne and Hastings. And Southern to replace the Class 313 and Class 455 if they were to order new trains.

What's the point of first class, it looks exactly the same as the other parts of the train.

I find 377 seats way comfier.
