Finally analog and digital become friends. My first synth was a Juno bought new back in the 80's, I was a piano and organ player for 20 years before that. Then for the last 40 years I have only purchased digital synths. Now....Finally manufacturers are realizing the unlimited potential of digital when using high quality DAC and ADC's and sound engines. I am very happy today :) with a Roland Fantom (ZenCore & V-Piano) HydraSynth and WaveState in my future. Have already experienced the excellence of digital with two Roland Boutiques, and a highly programmable Yamaha Reface DX and ventures into FM.
You are an absolutely brilliant synth player. Really really like the content you put out. You actually put me in a trance with all this ambient synth sequencing you were doing.
Oh man this is fantastic! I love your slightly unusual melodic structures, and that elastic cycling pulsing bass line thingy that runs throughout. It all tickles my brain in the most fantastic way 😻 this was an epic treat Paolo, and I thank you! And Brigitta...
I'm having trouble sleeping tonight. This is such a dreamy soundscape. Really is just a beautiful composition. This is a great birthday present for me to unwrap today. More like this please Paolo.
Wow, this is beyond impressive!!! An incredible layered soundscape that is in turns, soothing, evocative, nostalgic, and dreamy!!! So those two synths are creating all of that incredible sound? I assume one of them is also generating the pad-type sound aside from the bass and lead sounds? It just looks awesome; I mean, just look at all those patch cables!!! Modular synths are just really imposing and intimidating! Amazing music!!! Incredibilmente bello (did I say that right?)!!!
Ah I love it! Is that intro sequence also the Hydra? I know very little about this stuff. I have a couple Roland's but I'm primarily a guitarist. I'm looking for the most efficient and cost effective way to have numerous sound crafting options for recording. I especially would love to learn how to make my own repeating sequences, but maybe just do it with software.
The intro sequence is from the Synthesizers.com (Brigitta) - it is a sequencer module (Q960) that provides the sequence steps, which trigger an oscillator (Q106). Yes, you can get these types of sequences and sound with software.
