I have seen your video on what mods you need for 250bhp, but I would really like to know what you have done to your car including wheel spacers, actuators, suspension ect. I liked both videos, really. owning a series.4 595 'turismo' my comments are: 1) I'd go for a proper 595 (if you modiify it afterwards or not); AC in a car isn't a luxury, but a necessity in summer: to keep one's reaction-time down. 2) even here in germany [we have these hillarious "autobahn"-thing, you might know] my comparatively humble 165 bhp-'turismo' is good enough to chase away 95% of all porsches, audis, benzes: the owners have these cars over here ONLY: to arouse their neighbours' envy, not to drive them (and they're mostly not capable of them, properly). 3) more important than speed: roadholding, narrow corners and so on: ANY abarth is good enough for that. See, my ST180 currently has 250bhp and that is mighty, surprises a lot of my friends with high calibre motors. but a 595 with the same power must be like putting a firework in an empty crisp packet and lighting the fuse. Mate this is amazing. Great work and awesome video

Your car is testament to the durability of that little 1.4. Fiat have created a legendary engine. Just a bigger Turbo and supporting mods - still 35mpg... be brilliant in a Caterham.

The moment the white van got close then you put your foot down, the gap just goes to show the extra bhp. Just got a 160bhp abarth. I'm must admit the turbo boost is civilised.

Please do more reaction videos in your car! This video is the reason why I want to continue to mod mine. I think it’s absolutely hilarious that you changed he thoughts about a biposto from a simple 2nd gear roll to 3rd! I’d still choose the biposto for the body styling and the fact it’s a biposto. An I would definitely be upgrading the biposto and get the best of both worlds! Love the car stef and keep the good content as well!
I may be looking to sell my comp 595 .it's had a chip upgrade at 200 Bhp. 32,000 miles 15 plate. Red . I don't think the neighbors like the noise, understandable when the Mrs shoots off to work at 7.30am.

Nice, your car is super sharp! I like the Fiat500 its a great little car. I dont know why Fiat gets a bad rap here in the states. However, i remember when Fiat first came out here you had old people talking about Fix it again Tony a slogan used 30 years ago regarding Fiat's reliability. Americans never gave Fiat a chance really. They say reliability is poor here but they are referring to minor issues like info- tainment systems nothing really important.

Your welcome man!! After a good Currywurst we can check out the pretty long-run Nürburgring - nearly 20 km - we have to be very careful, tricky to drive. Also you can check here the crash compilations from there. But it will be fun with the Abarths. 😉
Could you kindly tell me how low is your competizione? Does it have spacers? If yes, can you please tell me the rear and the front ones? Also, where can I get that spoiler extension and does it come with stickers? Or do I have to drill the original spoiler to fit that one? Thank you!
Cracking video, editing is amazing as well. Do you think a new ECU and custom mapping might help with the turbo lag (MOTEC do some pretty amazing bits of kit)
Such a cool video! I have a question. I have a standard 2011 500 Essesse. Completely stock at the moment (IHI turbo). Would you know what kind of power I would get if I swap to a Garret 1446 then tuned with no other supporting mods?
I always like tiny cars with powerful engines... Even today's modern hot hatchback is very big in sizes ...I like the body size of old VW golfs ..Fiat Abarth ...not many cars r there with tiny body but a 200+hp motor.
they crashed my front driver side then the side skirt is peeling paint then the frame is damaged then a/c isn't working was driving weak .... i was saying ill trade in my car today then the car gave me zero problems today and reminding me to not give up on it so keeping it

Dear Stef! I would like to ask your opinion about the Abarth 595 Competizione. I just bought a 5 year old 1.8 petrol Audi A3 with 180 HP, and I was stupid enough to go and try out a 595 Competizione.... Now I’m contemplating getting one, but I should sell the A3 for it. As I saw your previous video, you had quite a few cars, including an S3. With your experience, what’s your opinion on the matter? Should I stick to the A3 or go and buy a new 595? :) (It would be a daily)
If you want character the abarth delivers on that and fun factor! The S3 was brilliant! Love that the abarth is still very raw and a great driving experience. Weighs a lot less than the S3 too
Of course Stef. But if you started doing that sort of tuning to the Cosworth (as I did) just saying if your going to spend vast amounts of cash tuning a car why not start with something that's already quick and with a larger engine? The benefits are far greater for the same sort of outlay. 😁
So let’s talk about £. From a 145bhp what do you need to do to go up to 180-200 bop. The engine is the same just different turbo and map?? I prefer to get 145 and tune up as everything will be cheaper like insurance etc
@@StefABtv thx for the quick response . Is it a straight swap with some adapter? As I understood the new 1 with a garet turbo send a wider range for torque and not have still any significant lag at the bottom rpm
Stef ABtv I was wrong,I have saw visdeos about a man which filmed his mother reaction in to his abarth ,but I forgot it was modified 245 hp,not stock!so you can compare your car with an m3 or Porsche ?have you ever test the 0/60?thanks for your answers
Hi Stef. What is you're too speed?!? Over here in Germany on Autobahn is no speed limit. So I am interested not to get a super quick acceleration...but to have a top speed of my MTA Competitione about 250 km/h. My Abarth is still virgin...but I reached a max speed of 236 KM/H. (The car was full loaded....me 106 kg...my wife 62 kg..and about 30-40 kg luggages) So in you're option is there a way to boost a max speed with modification to 250 km/h. As I mention for me is the top speed more important than a 1-2-3 gear acceleration...
yo i wish i had more money to hook my abarth up with some styling and an engine tune ... i have a 2016 abarth 500, eurocompulsion front mounted intercooler, eurocompulsion cold air intake, and rear torsion bar. 16" rims, though(wish i had 17)..can't lower it where i live either.. but, damn, i wish i could get on pimp my ride or something lol. check it out if ya want..looks like any other one really.. i.imgur.com/Jlz8XxU.png
