I spotted that cool 7-up goblet right away~I like that and I'm not even a collector! Great price, nice, different design and color. Good find for your collection!
Hi Tom. Enjoyed the tour and saw lots of cool items here. The green 7 up goblet is way nice. I would have bought that myself. It is most likely mid-70s as this was their slogan back then. If you do your research on classic 70s t.v. commercials, you'll find a 7 up commercial of a black guy with a deep carribean accent doing a uncola commercial. The orange and yellow chairs are late 60s to early 70s. You would see chairs like these in laundromats back then. Thanks Tom

Cool stuff! My mom would be in heaven in a flea market like this. The smaller markets that operate every weekend here in Texas have a different feel to them. We do have a huge market that happens twice a year in the tiny town of Round Top that draws hundreds of thousands of people. I've never been, mainly because massive crowds bother me. I can't imagine the work it takes for those vendors to pack, transport, unpack/display, pack back up, and move it back to storage. I wonder how much business some of these vendors do in a weekend and whether all that work is worthwhile. I know there are some who do it full time, traveling the country with their stuff.
My mom and I often wonder how the vendors can setup and pack up their stuff, in some cases, every weekend! It seems like so much work and I can't imagine they sell enough to cover the costs of the booth, plus the gas, etc. I could never do that myself. Thanks for watching!

Something that I thought about when you saw the "LIKE" soda bottles by makers of 7-up...I believe one of the slogans for 7-up was "You like it, it likes you". I would imagine that played a role in the naming of that beverage. Also, I never saw it before either. 😮
@fleabittenadventures Yeah, can't say I ever tried one or saw them where I grew up. Btw, that slogan was used by 7-up in the 30s and 40s. If you see a bottle with that on it, it's OLD! 😊
Tom , thanks for sharing . Did you know that Walmart is now selling a battery operated knockoff version of the ceramic Christmas tree . I bought one last year to save a few bucks and was very disappointed . It is nowhere as bright as the electric version .
@@fleabittenadventures I'm not sure . It feels like ceramic or glass . I store it in the box and it doesn't say . It does show made in China . Just watch out for the non corded ones .
I would love to know how much those beer lights were going for? There was a Geneseee light you picked up, a really cool Schlitz light, and a Bud Light.
