I'm convinced the number one red flag for a FB marketplace listing is ALWAYS a hose or pressure washer laying on the ground in the picture... bonus points if the pictures were taken in a spray wash bay 🙃

Can either of you elaborate on why? Hose and/or coolant jug? I have my own idea, but I'm wondering if there are other reasons I haven't thought of before.

@@nunyabusiness896 honestly to me shows laziness and or neglect. That the maintenance wasn't kept up on until the last second when trying to offload a problem vehicle on to someone else. If they can't be bothered to take junk out of frame to take pictures how well do you think other things were taken care of? There's always another car out there know when to walk away and ace yourself time money and sanity.

@@thabrownieviking OK, that's what I thought, didn't know if there was a super specific problem it was supposed to indicate I hadn't heard of. I was thinking along the lines of "blown headgasket" with the coolant, but a brief test drive should turn that oil into milkshake, so it would only trick someone who fails to check under the hood after the test drive. I take in the overall vibe of the photos, if it's a nice neighborhood and every pic looks clean AF and he just washed it and changed the fluids to put his best foot forward, I'm 100% OK with that. On the other hand, if it's in the hood with pitbulls fighting each other in the background and all the pics are out of focus from ridiculous angles and a tarp is half-on the car still, nope to the nope.

Never owned one but had a ride in a buddy's at a trackday. Granted it was an sr20det swapped with the disco potato turbo recipe but still even in the corners that little thing had no business being as fast as it was, definitely a hoot!

I wonder if it would be worth it to import one of those Mexican B13s throw an SR/disco potato and some coilovers/swaybars at it and just have a fun trackday beat car on the cheap. Then again people want a mint for SRs these days, remember when a FWD SR cost $500, Pepperidge Farms remembers. (damn I'm turning into my old man talking about old iron small blocks!)

The B13 is a shit car all around, the interior is shit and it’s literally a death trap on wheels. They’re extremely common in Central/South America so I don’t get how it’s so expensive on bring a trailer
