The Japanese imports are listed as unknown mileage when the cluster is swapped, otherwise all my JDM imports have a paper trail confirming mileage. This R33 has a Nismo cluster, so unconfirmed mileage. Also midnight purple is one of the most popular colors, don't know why people think it's rare. For R33 black is more rare, and red is super rare.

Just because the cluster is swapped doesn't mean the mileage is unverified. Nismo Omori will perform a number of cluster swaps to Nismo ones for GT-R's and Silvia's and document the mileage.

@@carfriendsimulator9981 I think I know what you are referring to. You're referring to the Nismo gauge that you insert into your cluster? That isn't what was sold in the listed R33 GTR car. What is in the car is the more traditional complete Nismo cluster that carries it's own odometer reading. One google search and you'll see the entire cluster by Nismo was made for a variety of models, carries it's own odometer reading, and is much more prevalent then what you are talking about. In the replies to my comment, you guys are bringing up situations that probably make up less then 1% of the auctions. Never noticed the Nismo cluster insert gauge in a car. Only seen a few documented cluster changes go through the auctions, both were in very high price collector spec r34 GTRs.

@@FFalin Not as bad to own as people make them out to be, people (let's be honest, kids) buy a clapped out one for $2k forgetting that it was a $60k car when it was new and wonder why they can't afford to maintain it and blame the car. Main thing is having a competent mechanic that is familiar with them ideally, if you aren't such yourself. Most of the issues are stupid things from age, that aren't even that expensive or hard to fix, or important to fix in the first place, like active aero will stop working when the limit switches in the rear spoiler go out. Mine's actually been one of the least problematic cars I've owned. I've owned a ZL1 and an RS4 cabriolet and my 3k vr4 is still my favorite, they're worth a look if you're after one of the 90s JDM halo cars that are still obtainable.

Really love my 3000GT VR-4. Sad to see it's forgotten as beautiful as it is, I understand the reasoning, I'm just disappointed. Thank you for at least featuring it. Personally glad I could pick it up for as cheap as I did in running condition, but recently they've been going up with everything else. Part prices will follow, I'm sure. Also glad to have a mechanic in the area willing to work on a car I've seen a grand total of six times including my own. If the local NA and NB miata weekender population is anything to go by, really shows how rare these cars are.

A friend of my mom bought a blue on black 300zx tt in 1992 with 34000km I tried to purchase this car until about 2005, in 2019 lady had a stroke and moved so the car was up for sale, a local collector offered 35k Canadian for a dry rotted one who didn't run for over 15 yrs. So yeah it was a great deal 😂

The thing is: I separate clearly between leisure and work automobile. The Supra A80 is nice, but maybe for US$ 25.000 at best. Automatic box? White color? This car is just too much discreet for any shit of fanboy to like it, but personally it fits my daily neccessities; I'm still driving my mother's 1997 Opel Corsa and it has the same feel of every other 1990s car. I go to class and back every week and no big problems at all. It's a 2-door hatchback also. I don't get hyped easily by "purists/specialists" trying to pass a crap tat made them lose a lot of cash, anyway... Play jealous, be sorry soon. Sorrow upon sorrow hehehe. The worst thing to believe is buying any old car pretending to be a fresh new car right now. It's total bullshit to justify your emotional arguments by placing a high artificial price justifying on the "scarcity" of the product. Like... I can literally find any "fun" sports car for half of the half of the half of the price these guys are asking for. So, as a seller, it's your loss due to my intelligence. Any really rich guy certainly will buy an expensive european machine right from the owner instead of the dealer, because they are exotic and can start over the refurbishing. JDM? You'll certainly find parts for your NSX on a very mundane Honda Legend, including engine. Auctions? They serve no purpose at all, except to inflate the egos of these sellers because they realized they can't get rich fast by simply selling cars to everyone hehehe. "Cars & Bids", "Bring a Trailer", "Ebay", "Hemmings", "Barret Jackson"... all these families just managed to steal money from a lot of idiots, because they will end with the bigger portion. The sucker loses by selling, the buyer loses by paying too much for the firm, not the car. Do some math and think for yourself. Europe and North-America are probably the WORST places to have leisure with cars. Not to mention that, behind these beautiful photos, some major issues and deterioration are waiting for the next sucker to fuck him up.

The world desires & knows 1990’s JDM cars are worth more because the American 1990’s cars look terrible, have no build quality, are slow, don’t corner, rust, have no brakes, and need parts replaced or rebuilt regularly, if they even are still driveable today. Lots of JDM cars all over the world still going strong, who wants an American 90’s car today? Answer= not many people.
