a student, his mate and a purple ohm story.. The student being well acquainted with Todd Terry, Tyree, Juan Atkins and others began his night club journey in a small club on the edge of Manchester circa 88 - 89. The club named BUGSY's was a true boiler room of sweaty, dedicated and knowledgeable ravers of all creeds and colours...they knew the DJ was good...very very good, but had no clue that he would one day be respected globally as an artist and pioneer....his name was SASHA. The student aided by his mate took his first trip - a purple ohm...a whole world of exploration opened up before his eyes...tasting colours and seeing sounds, it appeared as though the club was without a roof...the walls had retreated a mile in each direction and a whole generation was present...nothing mattered anymore....just the sounds...emerging from the club into the pre-dawn and walking the 3 miles home only one track from a large set stuck in the students brain.....this....over and over....The student accepted the invitation to tour all of the Manchester clubs of that time and they were numerous...30 yrs later, the student can still taste the colours....

I doubt they would have to clear those samples as it was before the sampling laws was introduced .So it was fabulous time to crate dig for breaks . Its why rap is shit now as it all is built on a click drum without any good recognisable sampling
