The Muses completely took control at this point! I was “noodling around” and the first song just “happened” of its own volition. (I sure didn’t mind.) They didn’t stop at the end of the song either! I was immediately propelled into the 2nd song. (Truly, that happens sometimes on my own but, this time … IT WAS THE MUSES.)
But a funny thing happened on the way to the 2nd song. I spontaneously decided to sing the song completely differently than the usual way I do it. However, I had absolutely no plan for how I was going to do it so I just faked it all the way through. HA, HA, HA! When it was over, I realized that I misplaced the instrumental break and totally missed a verse, and thought it must have been pretty bad so I was all set to edit it out right away.
Upon viewing the spectacle, I immediately realized that despite the above-mentioned flaws, the whole deal-io certainly is DIFFERENT and that’s what I was shooting for so I’m letting it fly as a novelty item.
This is my (reverse premise) version of the Sam Cooke song, BRING IT ON HOME TO ME followed by the Rolling Stones song, COUNTRY HONK as performed on 4th Avenue in Tucson, Arizona April 3, 2021.
