hella Republican not entirely true. No matter how properly you do it, if you do it a lot it will make your throat sore. Even when properly screaming from the diaphragm and chest and not only the throat its still.. screaming. You are mostly correct though.
The new music they are making is soo good. like I love the old music and amo era but Parasite eve and Obey are so good. I think they have found their style.

Even tho Oli has a sore throat, I think his screams and performance is still rad as fuck! Has a unique sound too it, even when he is sick!!!!! BMTH is always gonna be my favorite band. I saw them live on the 6th American Dream tour this year, they sound great every one of the band members (Oli Sykes, Matt Kean, Lee Malia, Jordan Fish, Matt Nicholls) They really have become an amazing band. KEEP GOING GUYS!
the sad thing is he didnt have a sore throat cause he was sick. his sore throat was caused he abused himself. drugs booze and screaming dont mix well. same reason danny worsnop fucked himself. the difference between the two is danny stopped when shit got bad, oli just kept going and going and going. dude has basically overtoured and partied himself into not being able to perform as good as he used to. he is basically the metalcore/deathcore/ whatever the fuck you want to call this scene version of axle rose from guns and roses. or that dude from white snake or that dude from poison(i think) lol one thing that cant be denied is he is a rock star.
People are hating on his vocals but this is probably the best live performance of Chelsea I've seen. Maybe I just hate how he never sings the full verse "from the tip of my tongue to the back of my lungs and...", and for once he didn't have an audience to shove the mic in front of lol.

Jordan Kratz I've heard them live and it's not better at all. I like them and I have good memories from his concert in Poland, but you have to face the truth that Oli's not the best vocal seen to man :)

i love the growl at 4:34! personally i think the fact that he is struggling with his voice to give a good performance is kind of touching. it just makes me love the band even more. :)

Listen to him live during Count Your Blessings days, it's obvious he can scream; exceedingly well even. But all those countless shows and performances have him recked, along with the booz ha. Oli needs some tea, haha
Funny thing to notice, back in the day ppl used to critize them for this performance, mainly because of Oli vocals. I see that now it doesn't happen anymore, it might be due to nostalgia or finally people realized that this shit is actually pretty good. Btw, I always liked this live even though it wasn't one of their best performances.

Yeah sure they not making heavy music as they used to it.. But if you see their live performances even now,hes still amazing.. For ex see the deathcore medley he did a month ago
Even though he destroyed his vocals, I've never had more fun than being at a BMTH show. So much energy. And he really does put it all into the performances. Always enjoy seeing them.
Bring Me The Horizon is not the best band BUT ITS ONE OF THE BEST BANDS ever! NO matter what i give that band a lot of credit as they deserve it THis band is going to rise once more and become more strong.
