couldn't be more wrong. the whole band have stated in many many interviews that they think their first couple albums are awful. they said suicide season was pretty much recorded in 1 take and they wanted people to listen to their newer stuff (sempiternal onwards). although recently, oli has said that he's starting to warm up to these songs again.
He do know when he can do shit hahaha I mean he scream like crazy for 8 years without even training properly his voice he better has to sing a bit if he wanted to be able to bless us with this kind of scream again.. 😭😭😂😂😂🙏🏽
My ex and I saw Skrillex (performing as Sonny Moore) at a skate rink for free in Ventura CA I think in like 2007. There was MAYBE 12 other people there lol. It’s a trip how some artists can just explode like that.
When I went to the show in Cardiff, a lot of the crowd were so confused when they started playing this. But all of us who knew it got so unbelievably happy
Wouldn't be surprised. They got the great reaction, started to love the more wild style of music again, and are trying to mix the old and new. Hyped for post human part 2
Oh man, I remember seeing them on Warped Tour in 2010. That show was so fucking good. Oli ended the set and said “Smoke weed every day” and I swear people were pulling pipes and joints out of thin air.
I wish i was there tbh! I only saw them once in the harcore days and it was at the end of it when olis voice was kinda shot...this is better than when i saw them live honestly lol
3 years later and im still mad that we were meant to get this at the sydney show but everyone chanted at oli to do a shoey and he gave us the option for a shoey or the medley... and everyone chose the shoey
Is that actually what happened (I was there, I remember the shoey bit but didn't know he offered a choice for the medley)?? How fucking stupid. I wish the shoey was Oli smacking those Neanderthals who chanted shoey over the head with one. I wanted that medley so bad. It's fucking bad enough their live shows have barely anything from before Sempiternal in them as is... I guess the sadness will never end
Look at the hundreds of people, on each side of the pit, that are not moving. They couldn't even handle Aiden. They don't even appreciate that we get to see deathcore on the bigger stages now. "This is... the greatest breakdown of 2008."
I think he needed a break to let his cords heal from the damage he did to them previously. He also got a bunch of surgery a while back, and that shit takes time to properly heal.
So fun fact, in the Sydney concert of the same tour we missed out on the deathcore medley because we coaxed Oli and Jordan into performing a great Australian tradition known as a 'shoey' where the person drinks an alcoholic drink out of a shoe. Generally one uses their own shoe for hygiene reasons, Oli not realising this acquired a fans shoes for him and Jordan to perform the act. Also they did it with wine which is not a usual choice by any means. Missing out on the deathcore medley was our trade/punishment for making them do this. TBH it was worth it, would watch their disgust again.
Idk... I got into bmth with amo because I like more than one genre. I found Suicide Season and now bop to that shit in the car. Also, I really like everything after Suicide Season, too. I can't pick a favorite, because I really love all of their music(except for Count Your Blessings and This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For, I hate the poor sound quality).
@@lucasjory8706 survival horror is the heaviest they've gone in years, and the next EP is supposed to be inspired by screamo and hardcore shit so it's gonna be heavy too! They're back
14 years old with friends: "yeah I listen to metal. The music just expresses my all day life suffering. I know you wont understand" 14 year old after concert: "Mum I need a therapist"
