Watch the EPIC intro to Bring Me The Horizon's new era, with Eve-L and their performance of the new song 'AmEN!' at Download Festival 2023. Mind Blown!
Been saying the same thing since Friday. Was my 11th time seeing Bring Me, since they were a shitty little death core band playing crappy local venues to me. The journey they've made since then, and Oli in particular, is incredible.
I remember seeing them play the MySpace Stage in 2006 as teenagers, getting bottled and disrespected because they ‘were scene kids’ and now look at this 😍
I saw them in Rock City basement when they had just released their first EP. Think there was about 40 people there lol. Mad to see how far they’ve come.
@@Albertmupila It really wasn't. He worked hard with Jordan (who has recently admit that oli wasnt able to sing a single note when he arrived in the band).
@@GabrielXDrumsI mean yea there is a point. He’s saying he was bad and now he’s good, which by the way is much more impressive than just always being good. Going from not being able to sing at all to being able to sing an entire concert at a high level is nothing short of incredible.
@@parkerweech3125 he’s been singing since Amo so idk what you’re all on about, telling me he couldn’t sing then? Clearly he performed regardless of what FAN opinion thinks, sure people can IMPROVE but to think he wasn’t good at what he did already is just stupid.
I found something in this live footage that touched my heart so deep! at 6:07 you can find dad with little daughter in the right corner! I just love how they feel this breakdown UwU
I've always enjoyed BMTH, they were never one of my favourite bands but I really like most of their albums with my into to them being "Diamonds Aren't Forever". I was in the front right pit during this performance and just wow..... this was by far the best show of the entire weekend from the showmanship to the storytelling to the performance!! 🤘🔥
Besty gig of my entire life, followed these guys since the first album in 2006, love everything they do. Got tickets for manchester and Liverpool on the 2024 tour! can't wait.
Me and my family went to download and I particularly went off bring me as I just felt something was missing but amen as opener really shocked me never had goosebumps like that before
Honestly this band is so good and I cannot wait to see them in London next year! Also to the dad with the red cap and the child on your shoulder headbanging along....you're doing it right!!!
Went in with scepticism as im not the biggest fan of BMTH, but they made me look fucking stupid. These lads are legit, the futures bright for alternative music 🤘🏻
@@WallOfSoundAU I raved to the people I went with that they should come see them and how amazing they'd be, and nobody listened 😞 best headliner Download has ever had IMO
Holy shit Oli vocals are so fucking amazing. I remember in high school people were saying they were gonna break up because Oli couldn’t sing anymore 😂😂😂
@@razmatazz9310 in one of the songs forgot the name was like the 17th one they got almost everyone to turn on their lights. It was so fucking good best festival I've ever been too!!!
@@saltysers yes, but it’s very hypocritical. Moaning about all the phones while they watch it on a phone 😂 If it wasn’t for phones we wouldn’t be able to watch this content.
Man I remember these guys coming to Houston with just a crowd of about 180 people. Muse’s first show here was the same now they’re headline major European festivals. If not selling out Wembley. 🤯
Not really my cup of tea, really wish it was as the stage production and performance was off the charts! Hopefully they are one of those bands that will start growing on me over time. Hopefully they will be included in the rotation of tried and tested bands for Download and get to headline again in a couple of years.
Bring me can change there sound all they like but this new song is insane but no matter how much they change there sound they will always be up there with one of the best live metal bands to ever grace the uk stage production lighting visuals interaction with the crowd and the atmosphere they bring even if you have never seen them and dont like there older songs you will still be moshing like a 15 year old cunt in 2008 by the end of there sets seen them 15 times so devastating I missed them headline download but every single time they bring the party with them and no doubt this time wasn’t any different
@@sebastianpacheco9846it is just a fact, even I am a bmth fan. We can’t regret it. Oli uses a lot of autotune in live shows. and also playback vocals in chorus.
BMTH were the hit of the festival I wasn't entirely expecting. Compare them to Metallica who comparatively did nothing with the stage and it's wild the difference. Definitely buying tickets to see them on tour when they go up, after talking to a mate who was in the mosh pits this time gonna have a blast when they're on tour.
@@vdawg2224 compared to BMTH this year and iron maiden + kiss last year. Metallica had the screens up around the arena that played stuff between songs and during a couple but other than that. Put it this way, if you're not a fan of BMTH, Kiss or Iron Maiden the shows still had something for you, they put on a performance. There was so much visual stuff going on. But if you're not a fan of Metallica I think the show didn't have anywhere near as much for you.
the crowd was the biggest ive seen for a long time, a portion of it where this video was taken was in every right to not be swinging for the fences, down the front was brutal, I tell ya, get ur ass of the comments and down into the pit 🤘
I was there, crowd was mental. This video doesn’t do it justice. You have to take into consideration that this isn’t like a venue gig. People had been out and about all day, it was boiling hot (not as hot as Saturday/Sunday but still hot) and by 9pm we were all exhausted. It was hot enough that I damn near enough had heatstroke on the Saturday waiting around for bands. The crowd picked up, this just doesn’t show it yet
@@vdawg2224 you disagree? Fair enough. I thought Metallica were a bit disappointing, while Slipknot had a great set list with Custer, Eyeless and Blister Exists being cool but Coreys voice was fucked (no fault of his own). Bring Me smashed it
@@vdawg2224 I liked it, Metallica through in some interesting songs like Harvester of Sorrow and Orion and played plenty of bangers but it felt like they were just going through the motions, felt ‘corporate’ if that makes sense. I didn’t feel a connection to the band and I felt something was off with the sound, some people have blamed Lars mistiming but I’m not sure it was that. It sounds negative but I actually really liked all the headliners, just BMTH stood out for me and everyone I was with at the time were blown away too
I don't understand why bands write songs and then play them in a lower key live. Like if you can't sing in the higher key then write it in the lower key to begin with
