It's crazy that this is the same band that wrote the songs like "Pray for Plagues" and "Braille (For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only)." I love both their old and new stuff, from their first to newest album, but this band's evolution is one of the most drastic changes in any I've ever heard, in a good way too. That's my opinion, anyhow.

For me personally, Sempiternal was their peak. I know a lot of emo kids down in the comments think that the mediocre Count Your Blessings was their greatest effort but I personally thought this band got better which each consecutive album. But the last couple releases have been okay to say the least. I enjoyed Drown but it really threw me off at first but after a few listenings it grew on me. But this is just too different for my tastes personally. If I had heard this on the radio or something I would never in a million years think that it was BMTH. Clean vocals are fine but this sounds like something that I would hear on KROQ in like 2004 or some shit. Huge step backwards. At least the clothes are still cool.
