the thing that's amazing about this band is that a lot of people only would see a classic rock band but theres just so much more like the literature and the meaning of every verse. As soon as you start thinking more about the lyrics you realize how much they thought about this, its almost like a story in every song they make which is why i love them and their music itself is also amazing. Truly a band worth listening to.

"True friends stab you in the front" I like this because it's true, all true friends will eventually 'stab you in the front' no matter what. You see, backstabbers come from behind, meaning you'll never know if or when they'll do it and gods does it hurt. Not only will it hurt, but you will most likely feel a deep hatred towards them. But true friends, you'll definitely see it coming. And even if you do know that eventually they will 'stab you in the front', you'd still do anything and everything for them. Hence the term; True Friends. This is true because when they usually stab you in the front, it means they'll hurt you in way no backstabber can. You'll still love them and treasure their memories, you won't ever be mad. This is because 'stabbing you on the front' often means that they'll hurt you involuntarily, for example; they die. I hope everyone or at least most people will understand what I'm saying.

Certain people might find this kind of music “terrifying” or “draining” to listen to. But I somehow feel VERY rejuvenated whenever I play a BMTH song. :)))

I remember being here, the night it was released. I was in break at job, was working night shift at McDonald's. I was so fucking excited. I spend a few more minutes because i wanted to finish the song a few more times, so i could sing it in my head while working. I kept forgeting the lyrics so i was coming back to my phone every now and then to replay the beat and try to learn de lyrics by heart the same night it was released hahaha Its crazy to remember this. Give me goose bumps to listen to this song knowing i was here, more than 6 years ago, expecting it to be my final song i would ever listen from BMTH. I almost wish i could die feeling how i felt the night it heard it for the first time. Not the best song ever, but was enough to make me feel happy for a brief period of time. BMTH always teaches me something through their amazing music! On this one what I learned (from my perspective) is that enemies/fake friends stab you in the back (it hurts yeah, and most of the time you will not wonder why they did it, because you kind of were expecting it) but a true friend stabs in the front (you do not expect it at all.. and it will hurt SO MUCH MORE.) and that’s why it makes sense that in a true friendship/relationship/marriage, no one could ever hurt you as much as your partner/true friend. And no one will ever hurt them as much as you, because you and your partner/true friend know each other’s weaknesses unlike enemies.. and sometimes it is not necessarily a bad thing because, they hurt you just by being honest about something. And that could definitely help you to become better in some way or change a situation in order to make it better for both of you and viceversa. But some other times they stab you In the front by making a mistake that affects you, by betraying you, or saying something that they probably said because they were not thinking clearly at the moment. We are all human and we are all imperfect… we all make mistakes… and that’s how we learn. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got in mind and this is just my personal opinion.
