man i dont think this crowd knows how lucky they are to get a kingslayer performance with baby metal and all their choreography with Ollie. So god damn awesome !!!
Seriously! 2/3 of that crowd was dead because festivals be like that especially all those bands at once. Definite highlight of the day for those who still was into it.
@@Pittfan187 Definitely. I would prefer going to the concerts of the bands that I like instead of seeing them at festivals because I fear that the crowd might be a bit dead. But in this case, you'd have the pleasure of seeing Kingslayer live with BM.
At last year's download festival, we were very lucky to get not one collab... But 2!! In the same set! Amy Lee and Nova Twins graced us with a mega performance with BMTH 🤘
Hey just wanna say fuck all the haters here, let them run their mouths all they want but they don't know shit. People have bad mouthed this band since Count Your Blessings but that hasn't stopped the band. As a fan since Sempiternal it's been one hell of a ride and I'm incredibly proud to see how they've kept on getting bigger and bigger with each release. Yes I wish they would play more pre Sempiternal stuff but this is also a festival show, not a headliner so to anyone complaining about that please piss off.
My feelings exactly!!! They are so creative and their melodies are 10/10 and they write songs with mind and heart, to more of an extent than many bands that the haters brag about
@@Ismell43I was just saying how much Oli's clean vocals have improved since about 10 years ago in another comment! They were amazing in January (when they recorded the crowd lyrics for N/a!) it was awesome to see Empire, Antivist & Diamonds aren't forever after so long! Amen is such a blast live too!
@@schmidttelevision5172 after some tense moments, yes. I couldn’t see from my vantage point but a post on Reddit stated that there was a crowd surge causing people to fall and there was someone in a wheelchair who had their trachea tube knocked out so they couldn’t breathe. People nearby initially couldn’t figure out how to fix it. But fortunately they finally did .
I’ve been going to concerts for almost 30 years. Seen some amazing shows. I went to both Sydney shows of this tour with my kids in April. I’ve seen BMTH before but Jesus they’ve grown to put on an incredible show, probably one of the best I’ve ever seen
One of the best live performances of Empire, my favourite song, the energy and the anger of that song is so hard to match live that watching this makes me so happy
Oli has actually gone through a lot of vocal coaching over the years, particularly his clean vocals have improved a lot! You can tell comparing tours from 10ish years ago, though Oli's voice seems a bit worn out in this video compared to seeing them live in January (they have been touring since January almost constantly pretty much though!)
@@lmac3231lol. I was going to respond to your “dumbass Tom” comment but I had to send Tom into the abyss and I think your comment went with it. It was brilliant 😂
Absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite bands. Ive been fortunate enough to see them live in Philadelphia and cried when they played drown. That song came out when i needed to hear it the most and it's still there when i need it ❤
This whole festival will be a masterpiece not only because of the amazing performances but I took my son and we rocked out to his favorite band BMTH it was epic
I took my grand daughter (15, first ever gig) to see this tour in Liverpool in January. When she first suggested it 6 months before I was a bit "Mehhh," I'm more Metallica / Maiden. But you know how it is, going to a gig, you need to binge listen. They were surprisingly quite good. By the time of the gig I was listening to them in my car all the time. Holy Feck!!! They are amazing. One of the best gigs I've been to, and I've been to hundreds! Thank you for helping me to re-live this!
So many backing tracks, hard to tell where the band is playing singing but it does sound good. I just appreciate a more live performance cuz I can always listen to the album for perfection. Sucks that my favorite song "lost" got cut but I hope the people are OK 🙏 love this new albums sound and they definitely know how to pump the audience up 👏
Thank you for filming this. It's inspired me to get my channel up and going the right way. ❤️ I had my son then life happens. I'm ready to share my love of music and shows with my son. He hasn't come around to the types of music I love yet, but he's turning 14 this year. Loves I see stars and just started asking me about Slipknot the other night. My 🖤 melted. It begins. I hope everyone is well. Stay metal 🤘.
Wanted to come back when I had a moment. I'm right there with ya. I went to a ton of shows when I was a teen. (I was fortunate to have a mom who saw how much I loved music and took me to my first couple of shows and then allowed me to go with my friends after that. That may or may not have been a good idea, lol, but it allowed me to really grow my passion for live music. Then you, know, life happens, you have kids, etc and other things take priority. About 18 years (ish) ago, I started going to shows again and created a RU-vid channel. I love being able to share my experience at the show with others who may have not been able to go. (Plus, having my videos on RU-vid give me a little piece of mind in case my computer crashes or I lose my thumb drives.) If you haven't already, start taking you son to shows. It doesn't have to be Slipknot, of course, lol. (However he may enjoy them as there's alot to watch there with the performance and the crowd activity. If you go, be sure to get seats so he can see the floor). But, ya... start introducing him to the fun of live shows. He may not get into it... but he might. If he does, it would be a gift from you to him :)
Brisbane’s Australia last show was my 17 Y0 sons only wish for his birthday in April. We had an amazing time and he got to experience his first pit with all the support that comes with a true group of humans who are there to experience the artist on stage. All music evolves as BMTH has also. 30 plus years of evolution of their sound is epic and always resonates to old and new fans. If you get a chance to see them and let go of all your preconceived ideas and simply feel the music I hope you open your world.
I NEED TO SEE THEM NOW! Been a fan since 2006 and haven’t been able to catch a show! But this is a far cry from a dive venue from the 2000s! This seems better than slipknot! Which is one or more of my favorite show(s) I’ve seen! (Not fav band btw) but visually..This is just unreal! 🖤🤘🏻
@@LiNa-ly7zl you are making me appreciate the fact that i know English and can understand them without trying. Its easy to take for granted which, up until translating your comment, I had. Thankyou for reminding me to count my blessings😊🥰
You have a good ear, that's awesome, I think you're right. Thank you! PS apparently its an Irish song called: The best is yet to come by Aoife ní Fhearraigh
either 1 of 2 things. either: A. a security informed the stage manager of a possible injury and the sound man cuts off the performance and shortly after, the band gets notified on their in ear monitors so oli made the stop. or. B. the sequencer (the computer program playing the synth bits of the song) died in the middle of the set. you can tell because before the crowd chant breakdown the synth bits didn't play. and i feel like lee noticed first and that's why he stopped playing. and then shortly after oli starts to notice. and then he called an injury for the stop. maybe im reading to deep but thats a neat way to "hide" tech difficulties ;) although im sure its just A.
@@George_Washington420 lol. Ya i’ve seen some decent videos filmed on iPhone 15 pro max’s as well. They hang right in there. 😊 If you’re at distance and try to zoom in too close it can get a little ew, but for the most part I have been pretty satisfied. 👍🏼😊
@@Hianfar its called sick new world sideshow. it’s like their own concert in the fontainebleau theater with Spiritbox opened for them. Everything was almost the same as the set you went except we didn’t have baby metal. The whole experience is just amazing and magical, it was my first time seeing them live in person.
@@wade820820 ohhh i’m with you now. We went to one of those nights as well. Its weird, the setlists on both of the Fontainebleau shows show Empire on both of those shows. I know they played Empire at the one we went to.
He’s still got a long way to go to sing consistently. However his screams are so good. He keeps making more pop music but it’s hard for him to sing like that. Where as his heavier music sounds like the studio version. Ik his voice was damaged by so much screaming so I understand why he wants to step away from that. I remember when I heard Taylor swift sing live and it was awful. So horrible but over time she sounded much better. I know Oli could become an amazing singer. It just takes time.
