Seems like half the people in this comment section just discovered this band and did not come from punk or metal roots. Nothing wrong with that, hopefully this band bridges your awakening
I mean i wouldn't complain too much for playing my favorite instrument in front of thousands of people, and traveling all around the world making a living out of it 🤷♂️
I love how everyone is commenting on their outfits saying it looks like they are homeless, they really don't look homeless. Yes they have lots of clothing on its winter and of course its casual its an interview not the grammy's. Focus on the music and actual answers to the questions and the questions themselves not what they are wearing. :)
It's like kind of just obvious and in your face though. It's kind of like that white preppy kid back in junior high that comes back from the Summer and is dressed all gangster. Lol People are gonna talk. Besides, they, Oli especially used to dress pretty damn sweet, now most people seem to agree it's weird. Obviously.
I kinda can´t shake off the feeling that half of the band look like bunch of homeless people pulled straight out of an alcoholism treatment session and put in front of camera to say something nice just to receive a 20 dollar bill off screen. That being used, they are decent people who seem like they love what they do.
The interview was pretty good but maybe get some specific questions for each member so the two Matt's don't literally just sit there doing nothing for 10 minutes
Reading the comment section reading only cringe and negative stuff. What the hell is wrong with this generation. How does a band supposed to feel doing an interview knowing people are just gonna take a piss on everything on RU-vid. Damn
But sitting around banging out riffs produced their best songs. What is Oli saying? I know he is trying to "dissociate" himself from his ketamine usage years ago, but I can't help but wonder if the previous albums were actually Oli's doing or the Ketamine's?
@@robvandooren2788 yes. I can tell you that Oli was obsessed with the stuff. The shadow Moses visual effect, the nursery rhythming on there is a hell, even the heaven and hell-esque theme are all part of heavy ketamine usage. Watch old interviews and see how oddly eccentric Oli was. I used to act similarly to that too.
Honestly, no. But Ketamine is currently being used as a "breakthrough" antidepressant for those who don't mesh well with Prozac (another "breakthrough" antidepressant). Just look up "ketamine treatments" in news or whatever and you can see the dichotomy of it. The medical usage begs the question of whether or not people should keep these kinds of drugs in the medical professional's hands, or keep them in their own households. Although the case of the latter being that many people end up getting addicted to the ketamine.
Edward Nigma true, but it’s badass how much they’ve transformed. don’t get me wrong I love their old albums TIAHBMISI count your blessing SS and the others just as much as the next person. but it’s always awesome to see your favorite artists transform and experiment!! i think a lot of people will be surprised with amo and it’s gonna be a fantastic album. frankly I can’t fucking wait!!!
Garbage Gang lmao! a country album would be a complete toss up! and good point, hopefully they will keep making different tunes and trying new shit. i don’t think they’ll settle and get caught up on pop forever though
